Im hoping CM puts these clowns out of business one day. Their QC is horrible, the prices are horrible, their customer relations is horrible. Im amazed anyone still buys their junk.

I really am quite surprised. A lot of us were hoping for $800 but were ready to plunk down $1000. How many people who were lining up to drop $1000 on an Avatar collectible is Sideshow turning away? For the sake of the five who will pay $1600? Crazy.

I am really surprised! SS lost two orders from me now due to price. This is beyond frustrating. I also passed up the AH Laura Croft. SS cost are moving up fast, much faster than inflation.

Ill drop whatever if I love the piece but $1900 after taxes and shipping she better put out!!! Since shes not ill pass. Dont cry too much about the price, the production run will be 100-150. Ballers will buy it and in 2 years when it sells for 3K we all will be saying damn like most other things. I sold my ex Prime for $2400 and I haven't even paid for it yet.

I could afford this thing...but I'm going to pass.
Its probably about $400-500 more than I was willing to go.
That price is really inflated...not good

My thoughts excatly. It might - and that's a big might - sell out if the es is around 100 - 150 but if it's around the usually 500 - 750 they're gonna have a big sale sometime in the future to get rid of 'em.

I'm saving my hardearned $$ for other stuff and will instead enjoy my Neytiri pf so much more.

Whilst i think it's a beautiful piece i can't really see how they can justify that price.

Like others i was really looking forward to this piece and was also shocked when i saw the price.

I think another piece that i am looking forward to getting even more puts into perspective for me. Weta's Rivendell whilst an Enviro and considerably smaller has over 24000 pieces with 14 artists spending over 1200 man hrs on it. It's also like this Legacy piece from the artists who contributed to the film and you could buy 4 of those at that price,enough said.

On a serious note, when I talk about stuff that goes close to $2000 personally I usually try moving into 1:1 or at least 1:2, even if adding some extra money.
