If you trim it down to just the adult monster moments, it's not bad
Haven't been following this movie...or godzilla. Is this good guy 'zilla or baddy?
The guy who designed it said he put Tigger into the creature because his daughter was into Winnie the Pooh at the time.
The creature design is awesome. Yes, I said it. The problem was, they called it "Godzilla"... and that's just the first of the many issues with the '98 movie.
I'm a member at Tohokingdom, I used to post at Godzilla-Movies.com before I found TohoKingdom and I'm not a member but I read Godzilla threads at SciFiJapan.

Yep, that's why animated series is superior.
Just change the name of the 98 movie to Jurassic Park 4.
No doubt!
And all of a sudden it's now viewed as the 2nd best JP movie.
Amazing what a name change accomplishes, i'm now looking forward to having the 2nd best JP movie in my collection.

Here it is:
I know people feel that the Muto is pretty much another Cloverfield, but, Godzilla laid claim to a creature looking like that before Cloverfield.
Gino jr did... Not Godzilla....

Aside from being mostly like Gino in look, the cartoon was actually quite Godzilla, atomic breath, upright posture, stood up in a fight. It's like the cartoon guys were bound to use Gino's look and characters from that film, but ultimately wanted to do a cartoon more like the Toho series.
