Animated series is great, it's supposed to be coming out on DVD finally, the whole thing, not just a few episodes, I hope it does. I'm hoping a series comes out of this movie, and if they go for the same visual style, it could look really wild in cartoon form.

If we are to believe what Edwards has said, this Godzilla will be the villain. Muto's will interfere with his goals, but he'll waste them and get back on track.

The guy who designed it said he put Tigger into the creature because his daughter was into Winnie the Pooh at the time.

The creature design is awesome. Yes, I said it. The problem was, they called it "Godzilla"... and that's just the first of the many issues with the '98 movie.

That's the boat I'm in, I like the monster action in the 98 film…but I don't watch it when I'm in the mood for Godzilla.

Not exactly the greatest influence when making a film about the King of the Monsters, eh? Toho complained the series got too campy which is why the franchise went on hiatus until 1984. I wonder what they would've thought had they knew that from the beginning. (However, the last 2 MechaGodzilla films from the 70s were definitely more serious and probably the best from that era!)

No No No No !!!! Come on People!!! I don't care what Godzilla 98 is called... Watch the film again.. It's not good.... At all. Jurassic Park 2 and 3 are leaps and bounds better then G98. Is there one decent character in the whole film?? Seriously people watch it again.

Aside from being mostly like Gino in look, the cartoon was actually quite Godzilla, atomic breath, upright posture, stood up in a fight. It's like the cartoon guys were bound to use Gino's look and characters from that film, but ultimately wanted to do a cartoon more like the Toho series.

Seems like this would be fairly uncomfortable to take a dump with a scythe sticking out of there like that.

That is such a lazy and uninspiring monster design, just like what the Muto might be.

Elementary school kids could illustrate a better monster.

Yeah I know. I bought the series (on ioffer so it's not legit) for my kids. He is more Godzilla.... But.... He is the offspring of that stupid looking lizard... Soooo he is no Godzilla
