Love the design, but I'd be fine if I could never see either of those films again.

I have to say though I would need to see king Ghidorah again. Probably one of my favorites.

Lol wow. So weird seeing godzilla like that. He sunk to the bottom and his back was toward the camera plus he had no flèche hanging off of him. Plus the bones don't look right either. Still nice though.

Yeah, this is a badass kit but I'm not a fan of such fantasy :lol

Good eye, the spines are uniform like the later Showa and Hesei spikes, not the '54. It's a neat piece, but where later Toho films went on to elaborate the oxygen destroyer as disentigrating him in a flash, this rotting, zombie interpretation looks a bit strange.

I'd buy a little diorama of Godzilla's skeleton on the ocean floor if Bandai ever did one in their Sakai lines.

Re: Legendary Pictures' GODZILLA - May 16, 2014

Spines are definitely off. Everything else though is just highly imaginitive. Afterall, Toho's SFX in that film was supremely limited in that particular scene lol. Also, depends on the timeline, because the Kiyru films had Godzilla NOT disintegrating.

But Maulfan. I think there are several kits describing what you're looking for. Not by Bandai though.

Yeah, another toy-related "news".
If all of those were true there should've been the real Mandarin in IM2.

Re: Legendary Pictures' GODZILLA - May 16, 2014

Yeah, I've seen people legit thinking Godzilla will be very active because a toy has tail whip action. Toy anyone thinking toys can be taken as truth of the film, I refer you to the G98 toys :lol. I just hope the toys at least look like him to get his final design.

Re: Legendary Pictures' GODZILLA - May 16, 2014

The Kenner ALIENS figures...worst offenders :lol

Well yeah, if you want to go that far there have been some good ones :lol. Even the simplest things, Hasbro's Avengers Hulks all had tan pants cuz that's what was in the art given to them and then he never even wore them. Toy makers are given things way in advance for stuff like this.

Re: Legendary Pictures' GODZILLA - May 16, 2014

Jurassic park is a bad offender as well. They had toys of dino's not in the movie.
