I hope the trailer is more in line with Godzilla '98's sense of scale and wonder, but a bit more grim and horrific. As long as it isn't like Godzilla 2000's release with the Rob Zombie rock music blasting throughout the trailer. Just set the mood!

If it's similar to the work print leak, it'll be from and somewhat grand.

As long as there's monsters showing as a whole I'm good to discuss. Otherwise I'll rant.

That would make for a good poll.

'We will see a monster in the new Godzilla trailer?'

And a scale or footprint doesn't count. I'm talking about ' YEP!!! THAT'S A GIANT LIZARD CHEWIN' ON THAT CAR!'

Legendary has been very generous in the trailer department, when it comes to this movie.

I think so too. They have their first chance to impact audiences who have been unaware there is a new Godzilla film in the works. I'd imagine they want to set that atmosphere starting with this.

Im getting multiple rumors saying that this trailer is new and different and has a darker tone but some say its the trailer weve seen before with the halo jump. I hope its not the halo jump one. That one was very lazy imo

You know the jump they did from the helicopter and dived down into the destruction. People are calling it the halo jump trailer.

I thought Michael Bay owned the rights for those kinds of jumps.

For a second there I thought this movie was connected with the Master Chief.

For a second there I thought this movie was connected with the Master Chief.

He does. We just don't know it yet. It'll be a surprise unveiling in Transformers 4.

Godzilla trailer will likely be online on Tuesday (Dec 10) at 10 am Pacific.

The previous teaser (with voice over by Robert Oppenheimer) which was shown at Comic Con in 2012 had footage which was made even before they started filming. So the content of that teaser video may not reflect in the actual film nor in the new trailer.

Well that's good news!! Hopefully, it's something brand new....which it will be for me because I haven't even seen the SDCC stuff.

That trailer was a work in progress but some employee wanted to be an internet hero and took a chance to leak footage when they could.

Hard to say what we're in for, the leaked version we're talking about used temp footage of Godzilla from a concept trailer, no telling what footage we get. I hope we get a new poster and some publicity shots too.
