The sculpt I posted before had a nice variation of the closed-mouth look with his teeth sticking out. If it looks like that in the film than that's a big plus. The few clear shots we've seen have been of Godzilla with his mouth open, and his lack of carnivorous change the look of him immensely. But if they can make him look fearsome with his mouth closed than all is forgiven. Except the feet. That's just unforgivable.
So from all of the sketches/sculptures, I'm really liking the design.
I love the more elongated, thick neck, like 98 Godzilla had. As well as the lack of those massive, hideous thunder thighs that the rubber suits had.
The feet though...the feet are a big WTF.
It looks like he stubbed all of his toes and they got pushed into his foot.![]()
Those were some of the best parts!

The new design is begging for bigger thighs and feet, how else is it supposed to be able to support that huge torso and neck? At least the old suits had weight distribution that made sense. I have a feeling Goji '14 is going to look flat-out ridiculous from the front...
those disgusting looking thighs are the reason I can't (or haven't) ever bought a Godzilla figure. I wanted to, I almost bought it once..
But I just could not NOT see them. and those legs always reminds me of the mom in that movie Whats Eating Gilbert Grape

Kill that GMK abomination! KILL IT with ONE SUBMARINE!
Enormous, fat, cellulite legs does not = stronger legs
They just need to be sturdy and muscular.

ETC.
4 legs, no tail
Tail-head balance, no arms.
The thinness of those legs makes up for the fact that there are four of them.4 legs, no tail
Godzilla has a very small head compared to a T-rex, he stands up straight, and I believe has always used his tail as support. So why the hell does he need those gross thunder thighs? He doesn't.Tail-head balance, no arms.
I think Hesei Godzilla was really the only one that had consistent flabby-ness in the thighs. Maybe the original too...but he looked slimmer all around so I don't know.
I don't think they were meant to be flabby. It's more just how the suits came out. I doubt anybody sat in a meeting room and said hey let's give him fat, out-of-shape, mobile-home Alabama thighs.
One never fully comprehends what the Japanese are thinking.![]()

Interesting take on the King of the Monsters going #1:

I guess it makes sense since they've already explored Godzilla's dung:
