Doesn't an unstoppable force like that justify the use the of a nuke? And be that as it may, I don't think the attempt worked. Or we can't really say it hits him at all just from a preview.

Looks fantastic, the plot so far sounds pretty good.

I like the fact that there are more of those things out there, given how little of the ocean we actually know, it's easy to suspend disbelief, the fact that they covered attacks on them as "nuclear tests" is as good of a cover up story as any.

If they just woke up Godzilla, that seems a little less despicable than Godzillas original becoming, kind of defeating the purpose. That seems more of Whoops than having to answer for unnatural things we caused (nuclear testing and what not). I guess it depends on how they woke him up, and whether or not the nuclear attack makes him stronger.
