Yea, I'd rather have another X-Man than Magneto. The Sentinel is exciting though, it looks mediocre but it's a great base for a quick custom job. And Wolverine is in his Brown duds so that's awesome.

There's apparently going to be 3 different sets for Guardians of the Galaxy. So there's a very strong chance of a Rocket Raccoon mini figure

Is Magneto supposed to reflect the DOFP version? He looks like some mix between that and the Ultimate version.

Ugh...yeah it does...



They could've at least flipped the colors on the helmet to make him look Ultimate-esque.

Then again, it looks like Lego is trying to go with an "old-school" vibe with the set. Brown Wolvie, "Headmaster" Magneto, but it's hard to see Storm's outfit.

Well we bought them only to display, and for that they're perfect. They feel a little different in hand and there is a lack of consistency in the joint stiffness (some are tight, some loose). But for $34 for 12 Iron Man figures, most of which aren't available in actual Legos, I don't see how you can beat it.

I got mine loose, from China. There were some people on here who were concerned that there may be lead paint on them. I wasn't too worried because we were only going to display them in my Son's play room. But now I see on Ebay there are boxed sets of these that are sold in the US and claim to be "environmentally safe" or something like that.

Thanks! We built the HoA from scratch with pieces at the Lego store....thankfully all of it and a bunch more little pieces fit into one of those "everything you can stuff in here for $14.99" buckets.

I'm actually planning on painting it, because we didn't have a lot of choice on colors. I'll have to share some photos after it's been painted.

I saw the pics before but this is the first time I'm noticing DRAX behind Gamora!

These Minifigs look awesome!!! I'm digging Starlord's helmet and Ronan's hoodie thing.

The ship is pretty cool too.

I'm not a big Lego collector but I've got a few Marvel minifigures and will be getting all the Guardians of the Galaxy sets.

Not happy. Blackbird looks good and Wolverine and Storm look good but the sentinel is laughably bad and Cyclops should've been this instead
