Re: LEGO Star Wars - anyone?

I played the original trilogy one way back on the PS2. It was a lot of fun. I'm pretty sure they made some updated ones for the PS3, but I haven't played them yet.

I want them to make a Lego Hammerhead minifigure and then make a keychain out of it. That's what I'm holding out for.

Re: LEGO Star Wars - anyone?

Would you be my grey lover?

Thinking of picking it up... I have another Visa GC, this one is for 50, burning a hole in my pocket... The only crappy thing is that the only place that has one around here is Toys R Us, so the price is jacked up to 93.. Still, 50 out of pocket for a pretty big set is damn good, and it will look sweet next to the Falcon. Do I do it and risk my wife's wrath? :panic:

Can you use the VISA GC through Amazon? They might have better prices/selection.

Re: LEGO Star Wars - anyone?

No, not officially...yet. There is a LEGO Rancor in the Padawan Menace which is sort of canon. I'd expect it to look like that when it's released.

Have there been any indications there will actually be a rancor released? The closest to a rancor that they've released so far is the rock monster that a lot of ebay sellers list as a "lego rancor."

Re: LEGO Star Wars - anyone?

The Padawan Menace was actually really funny... and the animation was surprisingly well done.

So, no Wampa's this week... guess they either sold them out or removed them from the shelves. I can get it online from Wal Mart for $34; any better deals out there :huh Really kicking myself now for passing on it for $20, I figured it would be the same deal everywhere :cuss

Re: LEGO Star Wars - anyone?

all of the clearance legos are sold out. what is the "trigger" amount for Lego sets? I know TRU constantly has buy one get one 50% which obviously converts to 25% off. That doesn't seem too special. If it hits true BOGO or 50% that's the jump time?

Re: LEGO Star Wars - anyone?

I'll check today and let you know Deak :duff

I found the gray cone you need.

Nut up Richie!

Is FLOSI's Cantina a grey bar?

I want to start a nuclear war, at the GRAY BAR, GRAY BAR! Great song from Electric 6 called Gay Bar. :lol

I have the old Slave 1 and Snowspeeder. I'd definitely like to upgrade to the new Slave 1. New Y-Wing set looks pretty cool too.

Do eeeit!

It does! :rock

On a related note, my car keys feature the Bossk Lego keychain, which I'm quite proud of. :lecture

Gray, very gray.

Not mine, but I have one of these custom heads. A guy named Arealight has his own site for custom pieces. This little guy is no longer available. From a buddy of mine on the Flickr.

Not official, but you know it's coming.

Yeah, that's pretty accurate. :lol

Here is the Rancor from the Padawan Menace (which I have yet to see...)

Great special, looks like a million bucks on BluRay. And it's very cute.

I've seen them for $27 by my house. LMK if you want me to pull the trigger.

Well, ____.

all of the clearance legos are sold out. what is the "trigger" amount for Lego sets? I know TRU constantly has buy one get one 50% which obviously converts to 25% off. That doesn't seem too special. If it hits true BOGO or 50% that's the jump time?

____ TRUs. Unless it's on clearance I won't buy from there. And if they have an exclusive then I buy that at the LEGO store (which shares the exclusives for all stores).

Re: LEGO Star Wars - anyone?

Yeah, TRU kind of annoys me with their arbitrary markups. That said, I got the Lego Falcon from them for about $75 by ordering online. Might have been some kind of mistake on their parts, but I can't complain.

Sweet! I'll PM you my address for the brick :duff

Since I can get the set for $34 with free shipping from Wal Mart... that would probably just about balance out after shipping from you to me. Thanks though :duff

Re: LEGO Star Wars - anyone?

That Hammerhead is WAY cool.

So you're good then, J? It is a nice set, even for 34.

So back to TRU and their lame ass prices... I'd like to pick up the Slave 1 but I'd end up shelling out 50 of my own dollars for a damn thing thanks to, as Deak put it, that damn Giraffe and his f'd up prices...
