Not off-topic, and seriously great news. I will be really looking forward to collecting and building these sets! We just had people out to watch the Fellowship of the Ring Extended Edition, and I dragged my Minimates out and had them around the snacks and stuff. I told my wife how bummed I was that Lego didn't get the rights to LOTR back in the day, and it was some crappy knock off (mega blocks, IIRC). She is more worried about how much time will be lost to LOTR Lego Games on Xbox!
