I'm thinking I am going to have to settle for regulars for Aragorn and Legolas, so I'd love to see what they look like with Gandalf.

I can't find a decent priced Aragorn and I don't think my Legolas will convert

Love the exclusive way more than I thought I would on this one. But I'm about to switch back to regular version on Aragorn and Gandalf for the first time since receiving them. Likely I will switch back and forth each time a new maquette arrives...

The skin tone is too dark and the peacock on the quiver isn't painted.

The not painted part doesn't bother me.
But the skin tone does.

Honestly, I've not seen one yet where the picture you can tell has good lighting that it look "tan". The shots by Mamba above look like a good natural skin tone and really not in every shot does Legolas look "pale". I can post on right now from after the battle for helm's deep that he has I guess a "tan" look to his skin.

Well I can tell you of the 3 pieces (I have all 3), Legolas has slightly darker skin tone than Aragorn and quite a bit darker than Gandalf. In other words, of the 3, Legolas has the darkest skin. This of course should not be the case.

Again, it isn't anything I would send him back for but a bit annoying.

It really bothers me he is so tanned.
Gandalf and Aragorn are perfect.

And what bothers me even more are that his hands are not so dark, they are pale like it should be !

Ya I'm going to get them for sure regardless of whether it's a regular or EX. I actually prefer Aragorn with his hood on and am undecided on which way I like Legolas better!

Yes out of the 3 he does have the darkest skin. I think skin wise Gandalf has the best skin color on his face, looks very accurate.

Anyway the skin color on legolas does not bother me that much, overall he is an awesome piece. Definitely the best likeness out of the 3. And I like the paint detail on his outfit, much better than using a cloth.

Good luck with your WL, did you put it as one time payment WL? You have a better chance to get it converted to do it as a one time payment not flexpay.

I like the EX portrait better on Aragorn, you can actually see his face lol. But like fremen said regular is better than nothing, but if you are patience you may get the EX at a descent price, how much the EX is going for now?

Unfortunately, I didn't know that one time pay converts easier than Flex, I thought it was all first come first serve, so I am on Flex request. Oh well, the regular will be good enough for me. I have the EX Gandalf and the EX Ringwraith on order. If I get Gimli, Boromir and Arwen, they would probably be regulars too.

Right, i'm gonna have to order Leggy. Not a doubt in my mind. The question is do i wait, hoping my Flexpay exclusive waitlist converts, or do i go ahead and order the reg on flexpay as i'm always going to have him posed with the bow, or do i wait and get him locally for what will be a bit cheaper, especially with postage, but pay for the whole lot in one go?
