#300/350 arrived yesterday in perfect condition. He's sitting next to Strider and I have the United Cutlery 'Strider Ranger Sword' and 'Fighting Knives Of Legolas' mounted on the wall behind them. If my camera behaves, I'll post a pic.

Note: This is the highest # I've ever gotten.

I did a quick paint job on the peacock. The only brush I had in the house that is small enough is a liquid eyeliner brush. Old chunky gold paint. I need to buy some new paint.

Thanks Josh. It looks okay. I went out of the lines in some places. Was bound to happen but from the view point of seeing it with your eyes, it's good enough.

I just have to add a couple of blue splotches or something for the peacock feathers and I'm done.

here's some pics. i also painted the back of the quiver but it doesn't show up too well in my pic. don't know why they didn't paint the quiver pattern but they painted the silver lines in the boots which must have been 10 times harder to do. oh well.

Fremen, was it a particular gold paint you used or just generic gold?

Hopefully, a lot of people getting this will chime in on whether or not theirs is painted. If they're all unpainted, that's one thing but if it's sporadic, we have a problem that SS needs to address.

I used Gold Leaf by Tamiya. It did require a couple of coats. I can't find my Gold made by Golden so I ended up using this.
