Leia as Boushh - Priority Pre-Order (August 4th at 10AM PDT)

I have looked and cant find any information on what an ubese blaster pistol looks like. I guess we will find out Friday. Cant wait to get this preorder done. Hopefully Ill be able to get one of these as easily as Bibs was. I hear a lot of people arent happy with this figure but I beat the servers will still be slow at 1 eastern friday. Cant wait to get this figure on order.

I wish I preorderedit at SDCC, but I said "No I won't get this one....but I'm antsy to get Leia, and it'scool so I'm gonna on the base of "If I don't want it, I can cancel it" which is my SS moto.

So is everyone just talked out about this preorder. Its tomorrow no one is talking about it. I wonder if this one will last as long a Bib. i hope the edition size is 2500 like him. Does anyone know for sure if the edition size will be 2500. I will be ready to go at 1pm tomorrow. Hopefully it will be as easy as Bibs was last week.

Well, things usually don't pick up till the figure goes on sale but this figure has been talked about since SDCC started and ended 2 weeks ago.

This is the only fig I'm getting from the Jabba set. As others have said, we'll probably get another Leia down the road, but I'm impatient; I'll take what I can get now. It'll be nice to have the three main Heroes of the Rebellion, even if they're not from the same film: Luke, Han and now Leia.

Actually if you remove Han's jacket and blaster then they will all be from the same film. :chew

Can someone clear up for me exactly how the head vs. helmet issue is being handled? I don't quite understand...

I guess your asking about the swappable heads. From what I understand the helmet and leias head attaches to the neck post on the figure. This allows the helmet to be held by the figure and still look natural like its actually a helmet. I think when its off the helmet will have just a hole big enough for the neck post to secure into. I would guess when the figure is packaged leias head will be on the figure and the helmet will be packed with the accessories.

Awesome, ever since Episode II I've dreamed of one day setting up a "Kit Fisto decapitates Boushh" diorama in 1/6 scale. I never thought this day would come, let alone so soon.

Im not even going to ask why you want to start making decapitated heads dioramas.

Well now that i think about sideshow has a thing for decapitated heads, so thats were you get your ideas from. We got Kit with a decapitated Battle Droid head, Mace with decapitated Jango head, and Boromir with decapitated orc head.

Cool thanks Jason. I also wonder what sort of joint will join the neck to the head pieces.. Will it be a ball joint? I can see it now: legions of freaks talking about how easily Leia's head falls off!

This looks great,But I dont collect the 12inchs.
I want to but with all the Buffy 12inch and Im getting pgf leia I dont think Id be able to afford this.

But if they make slave leia i would have to have her,also I want jabba.

I would guess it would be some sort of ball joint. Yes I can see the complaining now, My Leias head keeps falling off threads or my Leias head was off rolling around in package when it arrived threads. Then we can here about how to correct the problem and everybody will complain and say it doesnt look exactly like Carrie Fisher too. At RS theres a few pages already and weve only seen the prototype.

I know. Things are crazy over there because there is this one guy who insists that the Target Ex. Hasbro Boussh Leia sculpt is better than Sideshows! It had the site in a quite a stir yesterday.

I know that is pretty ridiculous. Hasbro released two Boushh Leias both exclusives. One was in a 3 pack with Tatooine Poncho Luke and Bespin Han from KB and the other was actually a TRU exclusive with the light up han carbonite. None of them can hold a candle to this version though. The TRU exclusive I saw on clearance after I paid $40 for it for $5 I was very unhappy. Hasbro never really got a Leia headsculpt completely right in almost 10 years.

I feel the same way about being impatient. But as far as Han goes, I have to wait, I just can't bring myself to do it, I saw it at SDCC and knew I couldn't buy it. He looks bloated and drunk from every angle, imo, this is the first crappy SS Fig.(but that's another thread) but the Leia, not the costume I would have wanted first, but I need to get a Leia and it's cool to get a bounty hunter too. I almost jumped on to order todayt thinking it was tomorrow already.

The only thing Im inpatient about is getting my order in. Im getting every single 12" figure. Hopefully I can get the exclusives for all of them. The only one Im missing is Jedi Luke.

I really want the exclusive blaster and I am going to try as hard as I can to get it tomorrow morning, but if I can't land an order I won't freak out. The blaster was never on screen that I know of.

Still it will be fun. Bib was just a gentle reintroduction of what PPO is all about. The real game is tomorrow! :chew :chew

jason, what makes you think Leia comes with interchangeable head and helmet? I thought the helmet just slips over her head. That's what it looks like judging the SDCC pix and the 360°.
