I decided I definitely want to order this, but it will be my first Enterbay figure. It's never a concern with HT, since their final products often exceed their protos, but is it a good idea to wait for in hand pics before pulling the trigger? Not sure of EB track record as far as quality hits from proto to production.

Eh, HT's latest releases have been less than stellar: Kevin Flynn, Thor & their Sucker Punch sculpts are getting mixed reviews to be kind. Not sure I'd claim "it's never a concern" with HT or any company for that matter.

Enterbay's latest Real Masterpiece releases: Bruce Lee & TBag were home runs, and Onimusha looked awesome as well. Prior to those, Ip Man was ok, Chen Zen was very good & the Storm Warriors figures looked good as well.

EB has had a reputation of deviating from their proto pics in the past, but lately it appears they're taking this to heart & releasing figures that are very close to the proto sculpts.

Thanks for the info! I agree that some of HT's latest releases have been less than stellar, but the quality does hold up in comparison to the prototype pics, which is my main concern.

Your right they're less than stellar but the paint apps are still above anything ENTERBAY could ever hope to accomplish.That being said ENTERBAY's last couple of sculpts have been INCREDIBLE like the new GOD set and the Matt Damon/Jason Bourne sculpt.They have been steppin their game up so this figure will more than likely fall in with the rest of there AWESOME line-up.I can't wait for this figure!^_^

False. Enterbays latest RM Bruce Lee GOD release is phenomenal wrt to the paint, way better than the HT DX Bruce Lee - and I have 2 of each set I don't see how anyone could think the paint job on the DX is better than the GOD

Agreed 100% it appears EB is starting to take the criticisms of their fan base seriously, which is a win for us collectors!

Oh how I want this figure. What's still got me concerned though are those photos posted a month or whenever ago of it on display, and how drastically they differ from these new proto pics. I'm hoping it was just down to the photos taken being awful, or that the figure has actually been improved upon since then, because it looks awesome from these new shots.

I really like to have this figure in my collection but there's still fear on me PO-ing from EB since the incident on GOD.

The biggest problem I had with the GOD figure is that the BD headsculpt didnt live up to the proto. IMO, the 360 eye system thingie was the cause of that. Thankfully, I dont think Leon will have that eye system.
The other problem that bothered me about GOD Bruce is the paint rub on the nose.
Thats the only thing Im worried about with Leon.

Yeah, you got a point there TFG. This figure has no 360 eye system so there's a highly chance the likeness will be right there. For me, the prob that bother's me is the body they'll use on this..as we all know, they're known to use ____body most of the time.
