Where you buy the product should have no bearing on anything.

If you put out a product, you stand buy it regardless where you bought it.

I'd say it would be difficult for HT to determine which are genuine QC faults for newly purchased figures, or peeps trying to take advantage of HT, by getting their figures, or parts for their figures that they broke themselves because of user handling errors, replaced.

"Oops, my figure took a shelf dive. Time to contact HT for a replacement."

If you were dishonest, you could literally renew your figures over & over again (if HT had stock) if that were the case.

And how many times do think that has actually happened compared to the actual legitimate cases of defected items? I would imagine very few.

My Mark VI along with others came with broken lights so how an earth does anybody do that deliberately? Or how does the seller effect that? They can't is the answer.

You guys are trying to find reasons to justify your stance.

Fact is Hot Toys Costumer care is often nonexistent too.

You guys also seem to forget the Batman/Bruce Wayne figure by Hot Toys.
As far as I saw, flippen loads came with broken ankles. Mine did!

And as many folks bought from ebay, they could do nothing about it.

Many Spidermans also came with broken angles.

I wouldn't deny the bad experiences people have had with Hot Toys. But neither does that mean nobody should complain about Enterbay. I mean TIMCENT on ebay had to open up every BD T-800 to inspect them before shipping and reportedly found a lot of them missing parts (and mine ended up missing the shoulder strap for the big carrier bag which Timcent understandably didn't notice). A retailer shouldn't have to do that.

not all the figures are defected ...but it's a lottery...


FOUND THE PICS of the defected mib bodies fixed by enterbay and shipping back to the costumer..

Wtf is that? A patch job? You f'king kidding me? Lousy *** people, makes me wonder what type of f'ked up job Django would have been if he is released. Man, don't they have joint inspectors for each body?

You guys are trying to find reasons to justify your stance.

If Hot Toys is like Sideshow Collectibles, then they are not obliged to replace your item, or issue a refund if your item was not purchased directly from them, & was purchased from a third party. I have no idea if you can buy directly from HT, but it doesn't matter. The normal course of action (not only for figures or statues), if something is faulty with your product, would be to contact the retailer you purchased from first.

And as many folks bought from ebay, they could do nothing about it.

If you decide to risk purchasing from some random fellow on eBay instead of a trusted retailer, then that's up to you.

same story to me
he helped me a lot with eb god figure...
He had to expect every single box to find: wood diorama not scratched, missing parts or broken parts...
at the end after all the check from him I have got a figure with damaged eyes, e body with scratches..
he was very sad for that..because he can't reach to find this issues,,,then I have wait for one year( enterbay's fault) and he shipped for free the famous fake third head (black label hd head with damaged paint )
for every figure I ask he check if all is fine...
I agree a seller do not have to do that, the figures have to be perfect from the factory..to the seller, then to the costumers..

the worst thing in my opinion is:
hot toys is a big corporation and sometimes is possible that a figure with some issues could be pass the qc without notice...
but Enterbay is family company is not big like the hot toys and they sound like really don't care how their qc service works...
and a lot of figures with unimaginable flaws passed the qc without care..we are speaking about:













but the most unimaginable situation is how they try to repair the defect how I have shown on the page back

All 3 big companies deserve to be driven out of business for their rubbish business practises.

If you continue to buy then you are part of the problem.

I'd known for years Enterbay had issues but for some reason I'd always been lucky. After the 1/4 Bruce Lee issue I had and their answer via Paypal (...Its supposed to be like that...lulz...) I'm simply never buying from them again.
Sideshow and potentially Blitzway now ....

These are over priced toys, nothing more. They are not critical to life or even the enjoyment of life. Many many other things exist to waste my money on when I feel the need

I never expect this from you sab...I agree blitzway from now is a very serious company...
the only issue I have heard is the broken wirst pegs from the carlito figure..but not for blitzway's fault but owners too rude..

It should not matter where you buy the item. That's a BS argument I think as i most of this.

If it's new in box then the product should be what you get. As i said said, unless it's a back ally dealer then your product should be good. I believe broken lights and pink panties on your figure is the trumping point there. Neither of those have anything to do with where you buy it. It's the product that is at fault.

That flippen Mark VI was very expensive and less than a year in the colour fades?? WTF man!! HT ain'tdoing anything about it either! Explain to me again why Enterbay sucks and Hot Toy don't??!

In situations like that, it's utter crap that Hot Toys are not more flexable.

This doesn't let Enterbay off the hook either. No company should be left off the hook if the product they put out is faulty.

Both Enterbay and Hot Toys need to up their QC and CC.

I personally prefer Hot Toys products but I also love what Enterbay are doing and their BD T2 is the best action figure ever produced!

But to act like Hot Toy's **** don't stink is just wrong!

- Postman arrives with your figure
- Excitedly open figure
- Figure has pink panties, rust, no head, & it's melting
- Hi five eBay seller
- Go straight to HT & demand a replacement

Oh so it's the sellers fault he has pink panties then?

Bearing in mind, the pink panties and shield flakes came months later and it will not matter weather it's an official seller or not as HT will not sort it out.

I'm not arguing with you as to where the blame lies, it's the path to remedying the problem is where I don't agree.

It matters where you buy from. Official retailers like SSC can help with missing parts, faulty lighting, & things like that, better than maybe your good collector friend across the street.

Although, sadly, these figures don't have lifetime warranties, so things like colour fade, rubber deterioration, rust, & other problems that only show over time, are things collectors should already know to take on the chin.
