If you were dishonest, you could literally renew your figures over & over again (if HT had stock) if that were the case.
I'd say it would be difficult for HT to determine which are genuine QC faults for newly purchased figures, or peeps trying to take advantage of HT, by getting their figures, or parts for their figures that they broke themselves because of user handling errors, replaced.Where you buy the product should have no bearing on anything.
If you put out a product, you stand buy it regardless where you bought it.
