As far as the 1:1 sabers go, I'm only missing the Vader ESB, Obi AFBB, Luke ROTJ LE, and Mara Jade which I sold off.

I really love Qui-Gon Jinn's lightsaber, such an appealing design. Whats the difference in hilt quality between the normal 1:1 sabers (the expensive ones) and the FX lightsabers? Is it true FX sabers are thicker than actual movie size?

FX sabers are way more idealized than their 1:1 counterparts. yes it is true that majority of parts on the FX are oversized to allow for the inner electronics and durability of the hilt.

What do you mean by 'idealized'? What makes the 1:1 sabers more expensive than FX? is it because FX are considered more as toys and less durable?
