My team has been working on an implementation of Oracle eBusiness Suite release 12, covering all of Financials and Order Management. We had 9 months to replace 5 old order entry systems, as well as 9 Financial systems. The only way it was going to get done in that kind of time frame is if we did it 'vanilla', without any sort of customization. I drilled it into the users heads over several months, using various props including said vanilla extract.

It also helps that it's like 40% alcohol. Now aren't you sorry you mentioned it?
