I really like the work of Jiu An Studio; their samurai figures are amazing. They are maybe best known for creating a Last Samurai Tom Cruise figure, but they have done others since then. This one of Date Masamune is very different proportions compared to Coo Model and others attempting this iconic historical figure. I wonder why they did not include his eyepatch

Thought I share. Gesus studio is doing a Musashi miyamoto sculpt/full set. I jumped on as it will be rooted hair. He did a quick mock up of what it will look like with hair and paint is first test so not final. Price is $850 I paid half as a deposit. I'm actually glad I waited because Mike Yuan was doing a full figure run which also looked amazing but was $1500 and deposit was $700 for that. Ironically Gesus sculpt is the same price as Buffy's Indiana jones sculpt which I was apart of at the time.

I was going over poptoys site and noticed they had some of their figures for sale. I bought this one for $217 - a steal with free shipping

Poptoys order policy is weird. You have to place an order on thier site, then pay via PayPal on paypal’s site. Things took a while. I eventually filed a PayPal claim, but ulltimately got this amazing figure. It is easily one of the most detailed figures I have seen. Bought a helmet on the secondary market, and I am good to go!

How long is "a while" and was it the claim that made them ship it or just a slow shipping method? I'm looking to order direct from them too

What helmet? Is it film accurate? Not sure why they didn’t include one with the figure (which looks great BTW)

The POP030 came in 3 different versions (or more, maybe). I got the helmet-less version from poptoys for $217.00. The helmeted versions is long sold out (as was the version I bought), but is available on the secondary market for laughably expensive prices. Similar to a Monkey King figure that came out years ago, I scored the cheap version and backfilled the accessories to be the version I wanted. Masks for this particular figure are hard to come by now, but I may get lucky eventually.

You can. Go to: https://en.poptoys.com/

Then go to the upper left corner and click on “products”. Then, “load more” about four (4) times and you’ll see him. You’ll need to sign in or create an account and add him to your cart. Easily done. I literally just went through the process but didn’t order him as I got the whole set of three long ago.
