yeah, last two pics without flash, natural light, i kept change the colors....on the head, i dunno what i like anymore? LOL 
twin sets of arms and are built more similarly to a large theropod dinosaur than a humanoid, fingers are bendable, each has steel rod inside, pretty cool. i just done base colors, i prob add highlights later.

We assemble halfway again on sunny day, not enough ppl and equipment i guess. still need the 6 spikes get done, thanks to friends helping me out on this. Kudos to them!

hey, are you going to the dark art exhibit in westmont IL? the show is from 11/03~12/15 2012. i plan to go there check it out, i heard theres many artist featureing alex ross, jordu schell, and more.

so today i got a email from Bruce hansing/james cameron, im very surprise to know the history behind my 1/1 alien queen, i was curious why the face area looks different from the movie?
heres the msg from the creator of aliens-Bruce Hansing.

Yes my friend...Nick and i were contracted by Fox studios to make 5 Queens from the original moulds at Pinewood and their warehouse, there were 2 head moulds,the one you have is the first sculpt, James cameron asked for a second more detailed sculpt which we used. Distortions got the moulds after we had used them but with the intial sculpt for the head mould, Lookslike you are doing her justice, big old girl.
