As mentioned previously it's WIP, the stubble and dirt will be printed on the final product and will be on the promo pics, this picture was also taken from Facebook which compresses all the images so it may not seem like it has good skin texture or wrinkles but it does, you can check this old pic I sent and see for yourself. For me it's clearly not Perfect... They need to work on the likeness Limtoys can be really better than that, especially considering the time they take to release a figure.
They also need to add some wrinkles and a bit of a beard
Even if it's not 100% perfect, it's still the best Nate we've ever gotten and to me I don't see much that I would honestly change. If using the game model as a base, having our best artist working on the facial muscles for the two expressions and having printed on stubble, eyebrows and eyelashes on the sculpts alongside dirt and possibly sweat effect in the final product is not good enough for most people then I'm afraid it's best to just turn on the game and appreciate Nate on the television.Even if it's not 100% perfect, it's still the best Nate we've ever gotten and to me I don't see much that I would honestly change. Stop it. That's ridiculous. For me it's clearly not Perfect... They need to work on the likeness Limtoys can be really better than that, especially considering the time they take to release a figure.

I said it in my last post - this is as good as you can possibly expect from a sixth scale company. There might be a few minor things to improve, but you said yourself this is work in progress and not 100% complete yet. No one should be panicking, and no one should be asking for major changes. Once this is painted and sitting on the rest of the figure, I think we're all going to be blown away.If using the game model as a base, having our best artist working on the facial muscles for the two expressions and having printed on stubble, eyebrows and eyelashes on the sculpts alongside dirt and possibly sweat effect in the final product is not good enough for most people then I'm afraid it's best to just turn on the game and appreciate Nate on the television.
To be honest I wanted to show a picture of the other head on the body because it's just so Nate but the team just wanted to give a little update and save the full thing for the promotional pics, besides if some things aren't right we'll fix them like we always have.I said it in my last post - this is as good as you can possibly expect from a sixth scale company. It'll be worth the wait. I'm confident of that. I know collectors are a tough bunch to deal with - especially the Chinese bunch - but just drown the pointless noise out. You and the team at Lim certainly produce art, not figures. I've never once looked at something you've posted and went "meh". Even Hot Toys gets that. It was a decision the team made to make the sculpts look more different from each other, the serious sculpt is meant to be more action based so the choice was made to have the hair flowing upwards as if Nate is running, jumping, falling, etc.@R_R_X I think it looks phenomenal. The smirking sculpt looks amazing and will definitely be the one I will use to display. The only critique I would have is the hair on the straight face sculpt. I think the hair swooping over and being more irregular on the smirking sculpt is perfect. I would suggest using that same hair for the other sculpt. Makes me wonder why you have two different hair patterns at all. Anyway, keep up the great work. Can't wait to preorder.
Seems logical to me.It was a decision the team made to make the sculpts look more different from each other, the serious sculpt is meant to be more action based so the choice was made to have the hair flowing upwards as if Nate is running, jumping, falling, etc.
The smirking head has the natural hair because it's a more laid back, classic Nate, walking around Libertalia and uncovering it's secrets and cracking lame puns.
The sweat is interesting its perfect for nate. I wonder if the weathering will carry to the outfit too and maybe some sweat stains on the shirt can really bring it to life more.. I like the tiny weathering on the gunslinger but the yellow stains on the knees seem a little slapped on so maybe there is some improvement there for lim but more weathering for these kinds of figures is usually a good thingIf using the game model as a base, having our best artist working on the facial muscles for the two expressions and having printed on stubble, eyebrows and eyelashes on the sculpts alongside dirt and possibly sweat effect in the final product is not good enough for most people then I'm afraid it's best to just turn on the game and appreciate Nate on the television.
Ahh yes maybe we will get another journal and pencil like we got with the gunslinger. I like using a relaxed pose for gunslinger but with Nate I might to for something more intenseIt was a decision the team made to make the sculpts look more different from each other, the serious sculpt is meant to be more action based so the choice was made to have the hair flowing upwards as if Nate is running, jumping, falling, etc.

Yep I already seen those pictures and he's great, but I'm obviously only talking about what I'm currently seeing in this painted WIP picture. As mentioned previously it's WIP, the stubble and dirt will be printed on the final product and will be on the promo pics, this picture was also taken from Facebook which compresses all the images so it may not seem like it has good skin texture or wrinkles but it does, you can check this old pic I sent and see for yourself.
