LIMTOYS - Nathan 1/6 scale collectible figure (Uncharted 4)

Its funny ‘cause when figures are more cartoony like the CCtoys there’s not much nitpicking. People are more prone to just accept them as they are. And for the most part are satisfied with them. But it’s figures like these that come so close to the real game model that you start automatically nitpicking it. It’s like we have remembered what Nate looks like and because it’s not 100% the same we get that uncanny valley feel. For me atleast. That feeling only gets confirmed as you compare it pixel by pixel to in game screenshots. I see it happen a lot with inArt figures too. They complain when the hairs on Henry Cavills hairline don’t match up 100% to that one screenshot in that one still shot in the movie . But nitpicking like that is just unreasonable.

It’s important to realise figures will never be 100% accurate. Just not feasible. 95%, like this figure is already crazy impressive. This is probably the nicest figure I will own in my entire collection, that should be more than enough of a reason to stop nitpicking it.

They will blow everything that came before them out of the water, including this Nate. I honestly get emotional thinking about it, I love the characters and the figures are going to be the culmination of LIM's experience, I don't think people are ready.

This is probably the nicest figure I will own in my entire collection, that should be more than enough of a reason to stop nitpicking it.

At this rate, I'm gonna have to start a bracket with my 2025 arrivals between this, InArt Paul, Artisan Joker, and Jack Sparrow! It's a great time to be a collector -- though less of a great time for my wallet.

Casual fan of the games, canceled my pre order for that reason. Need to have boundaries in this hobby, but....the fig looks so damn good I kinda wished I kept my pre order. Awesome job. Can't wait for John.

If I've gotta make dozens of sock puppet accounts and flood all the socials with requests for Elena, then that's what I'll do. Easily a Top 3 most wanted figure across my whole collection at the moment.

With a lot of flaws Sideshow Nate have, mostly head sculpt, that Sideshow body is one of the best proportioned body in 1/6 scale IMO. I would say the Sideshow body would look good with seamless arms. Sideshow somehow made the hands really thin and flat, like no volume. I'm glad I preordered this, turns out to be great. I made a comparison photos back then in this thread, and I still think LimToys made the waist too thin. No one agrees with me though. But after some posts above compared it, I'd say it still needs to be wider. It's an easy mod, I'm just afraid the pants cannot allow it.

I've always leaned more towards Croft, but Drake is looking awesome! Amazing work to everyone at Lim! You're bringing back my childhood (and bringing me closer to bankruptcy) one figure at a time.
And having just played through the Part I Remake, now I'm super excited for the official Lim TLoU reveal.

Kit will undoubtedly have extras after invoices go out, keep a close eye on his site. I think he posts updates on Facebook if that helps. And who knows, just like Arthur, there may be a second run of these eventually. You'll probably have a chance to bring a Nate figure home yet.

Possibly - sadly not on Kit's site at the moment so will just have to see if/when it reappears. I'll live with my Sideshow for now - and maybe someone will sell one of the two heads and I can swap it out (the head is the only issue I have with Nate on the Sideshow figure - skin colour is way off but the body, clothing and outfit are excellent)
