I'm still in awe of the stubble. Also, the sweat/condensation and chest hair? Such a fine level of detail! Way more than even Hot Toys brings.

Lim Toys' figure announcements and releases are always such an event, not quite like that of any other company.

Most companies are churning out product just for the money, whereas Lim have an obvious and genuine passion for the source material. It makes the figures special, even for a casual Uncharted fan like myself, because it drives the quality.

It's the same with Lim's Red Dead Redemption line. I'm even less of a fan of RDR, but Lim is making some damn fine cowboys.

The Last of Us will be the big one as it'll be Lim versions of characters from a world that means a lot to me. The perfect storm. :yess:

You can't go wrong with the "En garde, ********." pose, such a great final fight to the franchise.

Also, has anyone noticed the gems aren't just painted on but actual separate parts with some translucency? Really happy with this detail and that we were able to include the sword in the final product.

It looks incredible. I’m so glad you guys were able to include it. I won’t ever have him displayed without it!

Higher quality images from photographer 纸箱人HOW, you can see the printing on his sculpts better in these ones. Also invoices should finally be going out soon!

He also filmed a short video showing a neat little feature we did for the box which I don't think we've shown yet.

That's awesome. Inart uses the same technique this definitely now feels on par with their figures. Thank you brother it's a dream come true.

Technically, they are on par with us and Hot Toys, since we began doing detailed printed patterns on our figures because Hot Toys was doing it way before anyone else, certainly before InArt even entered the 1/6 scale market.
I talked about it in more detail in this post bellow, every figure we've released since Arthur, in 1/6 and 1/12 scale, have had extremely detailed printing on them, we didn't just start doing it for Nate.
Thank you for the praise! I really wish more people would notice the printing on these figures because it's such a time consuming process doing all those little hairs, but those details are so small that it's almost impossible to truly appreciate them unless you're using a macro lens.

There was only one brand doing very detailed and unique printed patterns for their figures in the past, Hot Toys. I remember when I first suggested doing all the moles, stubble and veins on Arthur's face, I was met with a lot of skepticism because factories just weren't used to packing that much detail into sculpts. Thankfully I got my way and the final result on Arthur was insanely good, people in the industry were impressed.

Since then more brands such as InArt are now paying more attention to these printed details and I still do all the patterns for each individual LIM figure myself. From stubble, eyebrows, eyelashes, it's all done based on the game models for that level of accuracy and detail people expect from LIM.

I meant the way the slip of the box creates an illusion when pulled up. Yes I'm sure it's nothing new but definitely just a great thing to add to the package is all I'm saying.

Oh my bad then! Yeah we were definitely inspired by them in that regard, it fits the game since there's always these hidden messages and game mechanics throughout the franchise, it felt appropriate for the box.

I truly wonder how that printing technology works, bc InArt figures usually end up with random dots on the nose lol so if it’s a print, shouldn’t they be all the same? I always thought these figures were hand painted lol is there anything hand painted on the sculpts in general? Very curious to know.
