The "original" price is never the actual original price to begin with, every retailer will add their own costs on top like Kit mentioned. Pre-orders for Nate opened over 2 years ago now, during that time the cost of production raised, we re-designed his body and added new die-cast accessories, yet the price remained the same on release.
Now 2 years later, a second batch will be more expensive to produce, shipping is more expensive, and now there's this whole US tariff nonsense to take into consideration as well. I'd love if we could keep our figures as affordable as possible but there are various things beyond our control that will continue to raise the pricing of every figure in the market, and factories and retailers can't be running a business on charity.
So I understand if people would rather save their money for their Marvel and Star Wars collections, LIM will keep working on beloved video game figures and we'll be grateful to anyone who chooses to keep supporting our releases during these times.
