someone needs to have thicker skin if that's the case. anyone that responds in a demeaning fashion shouldn't ever be taken seriously on the internet imo.

If I was coming onto a forum to answer collector/fan questions and I got berated, thick skin or not, I'd probably do it less as well. Just because it's the internet doesn't mean I'd excuse someone of being a jackass.

I would agree if this was a company website but it's just a fan forum, no one is forcing SSC to give us hints and answers to our questions on here.

Hardly; an order/item was announced and presented. 6 months later, via forum no less, we're told that the change out heads are being changed (most would agree the head is a big deal and sort of stands out)…and thats that…then, due to public outcry as I'd like to put it, it went from 'ok you can choose which set of heads you want', to 'ok every head possible is included', which IS the right move by ARH…customers having an opinion is an ESSENTIAL part of any business transaction..if they don't like it or are dissatisfied, and enough of that occurs, then thats not good for the company. A smaller company, like an ARH or even a PCS, to some extent should rely on customer feedback bcz WE are the people who will be buying their product…its much more efficient to talk about it and discuss it on the forum and figure out possible problems ahead of production then waiting til u have 400 pieces of a product and everyone is dissatisfied.

If you followed the thread closely, while there wasn't a person who loved all three heads that were originally gonna come with it, people at least liked the original one shown..there actually wasn't that much bickering about the portrait once the people who were gonna order ordered and the complainers left..i for one never said a thing that resembled that they should change anything…(as of nycc)…if you look at that thread prior to the announcement of new heads you can go more than a few pages back and no one is complaining about the heads…to me, it was totally random and a nice (since they've included all 5 heads) albeit unnecessary change.

I'll freely admit that I have NO idea about the thread in question - but this sounds like ALH displayed the sort of POSITIVE attitude that we all wish we could get?

Why SideShow don't elicit feedback from "fanboys" (yeah - I went there! ) whilst refining sculpts is totally beyond me. Arrogance and ego will eventually whittle away at any percieved cutomer monopoly.
