I really liked it, but felt it dragged a bit in the middle. About time we had some good non-PG13 sci-fi.

Just got back from seeing the film.

I was really excited to see this flick, Huge JGL fan, love sci fi stories, and how can ya not like Bruce Willis?

Its deffinitly a movie you should see but heres my reviewish take on the flick

Okay i loved the begining, the look and feel of the city, the concept, i love the actors, and the future landscapes looked epic! I liked the scenes with the clubs and all the nightlife, i was hooked up until they got to the farm, then it started to dragg on. I really hate when little kids are a big part of the story, and the story dagged on for a bit, not enough action and just really sappy stuff. And in the end, it turned out to be kind of cheap. Not enough Willis and JGL stuff, focused more on Blunts character and her little demon child. Thats just my opinion, and i wanted this movie to be good, just was a little let down in the end.

I would love to talk about this flick with someone, so mabey they can give me there opinion and i can take that in. It was cool, and the first chunk of the film rocked, but thats just my take on it.

I feel the same way. I was really looking forward to this, but I guess my expectations were too high...

I knew Blunt's kid was the rainmaker because Willis and JGL had to confront each other in the end. I figured one of them created the rainmaker by killing Blunt (since the rainmaker was killing all of the loopers for some reason and the rumor that his mother was killed in front of him.). I didn't expect JGL to shoot himself, but that was a good ending. What I don't get was Blunt stroking JGL's hair. They made a point to tell the audience about JGL's mother caressing his hair. Maybe because JGL saw himself in rainmaker and needed his mother to keep his straight?

To me it was this years 'Drive' in that I don't get what all the fuss is about. I felt it was pretty meh. Was all a bit dull. Like Drive was.

It was really, really good. Go see it!

See now, I would listin to your opinion and give the film a go, as hobo was a blinder of a flim, would love a custom of him.

Totally disagree with you and loved drive.
Yes it was slow paced in parts but thats what I loved about it, the moodyness and contrast between the nice guy and psycho.

Also the soundtrack was a big element for me anyway.

Different strokes:)

I liked it, only problem I had was the time travel stuff was not very good, people were saying that it was a good time travel story, but they really screwed it up

If he killed himself to stop his future self then his future self never would have existed, which means he never gone back in time in the first place and caused all the problems leading up to him killing himself, this wouldn't be an issue if they had the multiple universes, but since they demonstrated with the changes of memory or injuries all that stuff transfers. It's basically an interdependency loop, young Joe can't die.

Or for instance with Old Seth, if they cut off his legs then he wouldn't have been able to run away in the first place when he was sent back in time

Enjoyed it. I hear you darth on your comments and to a certain degree agree.

First half of the movie was mindblowing. But then it really started to borrow heavily from other films, in particular Terminator. Bruce Willis even had 3 people on his list to kill, just like the Terminator. I was just waiting for Willis to show up at one of their houses and say "Are you Sarah Connah?" Also the kid with his powers was too much Firestarter/Scanners. But other than that, really enjoyed it. Great line "I'm from the FUTURE, go to China."

Saw this last night and loved it. My only gripes are that some of the time travel paradoxes (mostly the ones surrounding Old Joe and the Rainmaker) make no sense, and unfortunately no amount of abstract thought has been able to justify it for me. Also, the prosthetics (mostly the contacts) on JGL were a bit distracting at times.

Other than that though, the best movie I have seen in a while. :rock

Can someone simplify the ending for me please.:dunno

What do you need to be simplified? I 'KIND OF' got it :dunno

I just cant get over the 2nd half,
They introduced Blunt and her son so late in the game i didnt really feel anything for them, and for every 20 minutes of them talking they would flashback to Willis Joe on the run for like a minute, Idk, just my opinion, feels like the movie opening very unique and stylish then went down the drain, i just dont like little annoying kids in movies like this LOL.
