Here's another guess:

What if "Charlie", Desmond's and Penny's baby is actually "Charlie" from the island?

Charlie had a brother named "Liam".

What if that brother is actually "Aaron"?

What if Kate changed his name when trying to keep him safe and hidden from the authorities? Perhaps she leaves Aaron/Liam with someone else (Penny?) for safe keeping.

True but the timeline appears screwed up, though. We've got them jumping around all over the place and not just those presently on the island. It would somewhat explain the closeness between Charlie and Claire, maybe?

I know it seems likely that the rifle chick is Faraday's mom, however, I've seen numerous pics of my mom all through her life and would like to think that I'd recognize her.

Unless... Daniel does but knows he can't say anything!

She is Faraday's mom...Ellie is short for Eloise Hawking.
