Yea, I can agree with that. After all, the Dharma people knew where the island was because they had to get there. The only thing we don't know (or maybe we do and I forget) is how long before the Losties crashed did Ben get rid of the Dharma Folk? If it was a LONG time, seems weird that Dharma would still be dropping supplies if they didn't here progress reports or actually hear from their own representatives (unless Ben's folk pretended to be Dharma folk to their HQ)

If we go by the theory that 'wool was being pulled over Dharma's eyes' I would imagine the 'others' would have been putting on a good act. There were quite a few people still at the stations (ie: The Swan, The Looking Glass, etc.), so I could them being able to pull off a con.

As for the time frame of the killing of the real Dharma people and the Losties arrival, I'd say it was quite a few years (if not at least a decade or two), given how 'younged' up they made Ben when he killed them.

My final thoughts on everything between the Pilot and the Finale...

Ooh yeah, ooh yeah
Nothing really matters

Anyway the wind blows...

The "It worked" line is dirty pool. . . haha, they used it intentionally to trick us.

:shakes fist:

That makes sense...but I still find it hard to believe that Dharma HQ would still be sending care packages when they haven't heard from people they KNOW are on the island. Like I would imagine they would probably be a little suspicious when they didn't hear from Horace for a bit

I think after Ben killed off the Dharma workers he was working a con on the Dharma Initiative with the Others posing as Dharma folk so the food drops would keep coming.

:dunno.

I like this theory. My other theory was that Ben was actually conning the remaining Dharma folks on the island (Desmond, etc.,) in order for them to continue doing their thing. In Desmond's case, punching in those buttons.

It was only after Ben was captured that he decided his only way to escape with his life was to create a diversion by fooling Locke into arguing against Desmond and his entering of the numbers.

Then again... :dunno

Classic in every sense! :rotfl:rotfl:rotfl

I was looking around for the music from the Inception theatrical trailer (really great trailer music) when I stumbled into this fan made Lost trailer that has that very same piece of music.

I thought it was epic and well made, and it makes me want to watch the entire series again:

Sorry if it's been posted before.

"Who was dropping the Dharma supplies during the 2nd season? And how were they able to locate the island's location?

I believe the supplies were coming from Dharma off-Island, and they could find and track the Island using their Lamp Post station under the church in L.A.--but I believe the supplies were sent before the purge and arrived a little late.

Look at Faraday's rocket experiment--enter the Island's bubble on the wrong trajectory and time gets unpredictable. Things land on the Island a long time after they were sent--Dharma drops a food pallet in 1990 and it passes the wrong way through the bubble and lands in 2004. After they showed us that rocket, I stopped worrying about the resupply pallets.

Make that pallet, singular. We only saw one.

Now, you might assume that there were more--a lot more. You might assume that Desmond's supplies came from a similar pallet. But the show only showed us one that I can recall. And we heard no plane--possibly because the plane flew over the Island over a decade earlier.

Just one possible explanation.

I love how people (other LOST boards) keep asking about the Numbers and why Claire's baby had to be raised by her. The purpose of both was to get Hurley and Claire on the plane. They wouldn't have been on the flight if it wasn't for that.

Who would be interested in a one off two hour tv movie that gives us a little insight into how Hurley and Ben ran the island?
It could show us how thier relationship grew and also give us an idea as to how long Hurley lived and coped with any problems that arised before he died and went to the sideways verse.

Nah. This is best left for us to imagine. Their comments to each other at the end were perfect.

We're already getting the "Epilogue" on the complete series, that will be enough and quite frankly, there are much more pressing issues that need to be addressed before any time is spent on "new" events.

just had to watch the enhanced finale.

end scene still gets me......:monkey2
