Yea, definitely. Have been watching it religiously since the beginning.

Of course my favorite Survivor is good old Rupert. :)

My favorite female is Jenna (winner).

We also watch American Idol here and there. I was happy Taylor Hicks won, I wanted him from the ghett-go.

I've been telling people for the longest time that there DEFINETLY was something screwy with that island. I knew there were some Truman show like elemsnts to it, and now I have proof.

So, that elctromagnetic generator was going nuts. It was interesting to find out that it was the thing that brought down the plane. Makes sense I guess. Now, the most important thing that was said after that "weird" thing happend near the end was said by Claire. She said that the sky turned purple. PURPLE! What the hell happens when you put a magnet near a TV? It turns purple. God know that that door that fell was part of the "dome" thing that must be surrounding the island.

Now, about that giant statue foot with the four toe's. I got nothing. Hey, cartoon characters have 4 fingers, so I guess they may have four toes as well? Did some islanders have some weird four-toed god? Where's the rest of the statue? I dunno.

Now, about that Penelope girl. I guess she's been looking for Desmond for a good long while. He dissapeared for three years during that boat race thing. Remember that she said you can find anybody if you have enough money and determination. But how in the hell would she know to be looking for a weird electromagnetic field? She obviously sent those dudes out there to watch out for some weird flux somewhere on earth. BUt how would she know to be looking for something like this? Maybe her evil controlling father, Mr. Whitmore, kinda sent Desmond to that island since he pissed him off. I dunno. But she somehow found out that he was on an island that might have gigantic fluxes every once in a while.

Now... we got big questions. Are Eco and Locke alive? Where are Jack and crew going? What's up with Sayid? Will we ever see Michael again? How about that statue?

I hope this covers what went on tonight, and I hope I helped raise some eyebrows with my hopefully insiteful entry.

I thought the door that landed on the beach was the hatch door.

When I saw the giant foot, the first thing I thought of was Atlantis. My wife thought of The Simpsons.

And what's the deal with Charlie? How'd he make it back and why is he acting goofy? He was joking around and avoiding questions.

SPOILERS....okay, last spoiler space - ipoders avoid this thread!

I just finished the novel tie-in, Bad Twin. The rich family that is in it is "Widmore" although none of the characters in the book are Charles or Penelope.

The thing from the sky was definitely the hatch, and they implied that all the canned food also rained down from the heavens.

I'm glad they actually answered some questions here rather than just avoiding it. They did it in such a way that the mystery deepens and becomes more intriguing. I'm definitely hooked, although where's the monster from the first season?

And anyone think Clancy Brown isn't really dead? Did Desmond see the body when he raced to the sailboat after the survivors got into the hatch?

And what do we learn from www.hansocareers.com?

SPOILER DISCUSSION:

I liked everything but I am completely confused about Charlie. He is risking his life trying to save Eko, then he gets outside and just wanders back to the camp and wonders why Locke and Eko aren't back yet? If we hadn't seen all the heroin go into the ocean I would say that he was on something...

I don't think the hatch blew up. Maybe a big electromagnetic backfire reversed the pull and shot the door up into the sky. But we didn't hear an explosion, did we?

And I thought it was kind of weak having the Others just let Walt go like that. A year of wondering why he was so important to them is now gone straight out the window.

And Hurley was only put on the list so that they could send him right back again? Could have been anybody, I guess. Funny that people were working so hard to figure out what the four people on the list had in common, and it turns out that one was just a messenger boy.

I have a lot to wonder about over the summer...

That... is one... nutty show...

SPOILERS.......

So, I'm guessing Des's girl found someone from the Hanso pearl station who told her to hire French men on the pole to look for electromagnetic events... But what about Des and Locke and Mr. E.? Could they have survived or are they off the show? I'm thinking they have to survive because A) everyone loves Locke B) Des has such a back story to explore and C) it wouldn't be that satisfying to see Des's girl track them down only to find that he is dead.

Pretty wacky. Not exactly sure how the hatch door went way up and came crashing down again. I first thought it was going to be part of another plane. Something tells me Michael is going to find Sayid and he won't be leaving the island after all. His conscience is going to catch up to him and he's gonna try to get the 3 back.

Crazy that Des's boat was from Libby. Not exactly sure how Pen knew how to look for electromagnetic fluxes but I guess we'll find out in season 3. Loved the whold back story on Des and the fact that the System Error may have caused the plane crash was the best part of the show. Still left with more questions than answers, which is what a cliff hanger is all about I suppose.

They wanted Hurley as the messenger boy because they could be sure he'd never try a stupid "rescue" attempt on his own.

Perhaps they let Walt go because a) they were through with him, or b) knew he'd be back. Remember Des said he had set a direct course West and still came back to the island, so perhaps the same will happen to Michael.

Maybe Des was a little too boozed up to keep his boat in a straight line.

My wife does not believe that Penelope Widmore is trying to find the island in order to locate Desmond, but for other reasons.

So I said--right, it's just a coincidence that Desmond happens to be there?

And she says--yeah, that would be the first big coincidence ever on this show...

So now you can download last night's finale from iTunes and watch it again!

And if you do--look closely at the man in the frozen snowy hatch at the end of the show, who calls P. Widmore about the location of the pulse. I know he's not speaking English, but look closely at his face.

It's Jack.

:google

SPOILER

So was that Jack in the Russian "hatch?" It sure looked like him ...
