Saruman's palantir is accurate. The one Aragorn is holding in the pic on the previous page is Denethor's palantir. It's bigger than Saruman's.

Seriously, though, Denethor did have a palantir. It's how he knew about Aragorn riding with Theoden.

In the novels Denethor had a palantir, pretty sure in the films that palantir is still Sarumans. Its wrapped in the same cloth Gandalf wrapped the Palantir in after Pippin found it at Isengard.

Yes, Denethorn had a palantír in the books, and he says in the movie "don't you think I haven't seen how you think to replace me with this ranger from north" or something like that, can't remeber the exact phrase.

However, in the films we never see denethorn's palantír as far as I know, just the one Gandalf brings from isengard.

and these collectibles are based on the movies and not the books.

I wonder I difficult it would be to replace the SS/Weta Saruman statue's palantir with this one...

Not sure if anyone would be willing to drill through their statue, though, but it would definitely look amazing with a lit palantir.
