doesn't the chestburster at the end of avp and beginning of requiem have the predator face? different than the chestburster in alien, aliens, alien 3 and resurrection, yes?

i thought we were talking about the chestburster exclusive that comes with the cleaner? to be film accurate, wouldn't it have the predator face? that would make it unique from the chestbursters from the other films.

Oh, I see where your coming from man. Yeah, that would make more sense, but SSC and Hot Toys I think just made it a normal chest burster. Although, I think that a Predalien chestburster would/is more accurate to the film.

since neither of us have a crystal ball, we'll see. a run of 550 is pretty low. it'll be the chestburster exclusive that gets the price up. got a feeling this will be the only figure it is offered with.

You don't need a crystal ball. History is what you need to look at. 550 which is what the SS EX Cleaner Wolf is set at, is the highest run of any SS Pred exclusive. Pred2 Battle damaged SS Ex had a run of 500 and I just bought one for $200. Like I said, the only SS exclusive can match the price of a Celtic is an Ancient...and that's due to a LOW run of 250. Only the Ani-com had a lower run. And we know what those sell for.

Not necessarily...it could be a burster from a human host. Those didn't have mandibles.

es is a good indicator but it isn't everything. if there was a formula for forecasting a collectible's future value, someone would be selling it on ebay. i picked up a brown avp alien (350) the other day for $100. go figure. the final battle kroenen (750) from ss sells for three times as less as nazi kroenen (1000). popularity counts but a 250 es for a kick ass celtic could put it in the pz zone. it is the best looking pred with the cleaner coming in second, imo.

No, Just the Scar burster had mandibles. The huggers in the stasis tubes were plain 'ole huggers. Hence plain 'ole bursters.
