Are Luke's lips really that red or does it just look that way in the picture?

They are a bit dark. I wouldn't say that they're red, though. Not nearly.

I think RoboDad is toying with a bit of a touch-up. We'll have to wait and see. I'm perfectly comfortable with his statue being the guinea pig.

The paint on Luke does seem a little strong in some pics, but in others he looks just fine. Someday I want to see a real life PF figure. I've never seen one in person before.

I finally got to see a few in my local Forbidden Planet (Luke ANH, Vader, Solo and Leia) They looked good, but as always (to these perfectionist's eyes) could have been better.

I'd love to buy these, because I'd just love to get the chance to repaint a face at this larger scale. But where the hell would i put it? not to mention who's money would I buy it with?

Yes, and yes.

I was skeptical, and paranoid myself. But, after days of goading others into attempting it with theirs, I decided to give it a whirl. The result is obviously preferable, and it's so easy that I really believe that Sideshow intended for it to be just like that. Great work. Truly, great work.

Apparently that's the way they want Yoda to be posed, judging from the official pics.

Yoda should come with a BEND BEFORE USE sticker, though!

Aahh I loove this statue. I perfect companion to the first Luke PF. I desperatly hope Sideshow makes a PF ROTJ Luke to round out and complete the trilogy showing the stages of Lukes growth.

So I got it. Found a great deal and could not pass it up. I also think mine has a better paint job than the other one I saw.

Not a perfect piece but after you adjust it and bend the hell out of Yoda, it can look pretty good!
