Yee-Haw! FINALLY got my fed-ex tracking number/shipping notice today. I'm assuming Sideshow is shipping my Regular AND Exclusive Luke together. I'm in Toronto, so depending on customs hold-ups, I may have him by the end of next week! Fellow Canadians, looks like they're shipping to us now!!!

Yeah I got my FED-EX tracking number today too, he should be here next Tuesday.

This is the first Sideshow item I've ever owned and I'm completely blown away with how it looks it person. I finally have something to live for! (Uh...besides my wife, family, friends, and whatnot...)

Bad news for EU collectors. According to a post I just read on RS,the EU figures won't be shipping until the first week in May,a little more than the 2-3 weeks that Sideshow stated in last week's podcast . At this rate by the time the EU get their Luke figures,Anakin will be shipping in the US. I know it takes time for the figures to cross the ocean but why can't Sideshow send their EU stock by plane,even if it means charging more for shipping. All of the figures I've ordered look great,but it's annoying that it's going to be around 6 weeks after the US release before I get my first figure.

That stinks, Fett! Makes you want to go down there and get him yourself. I have had that happen, where a package gets to my local facility just after the trucks leave on Saturday and so it sits there all day, then they don't send stuff out Sunday or Monday, so you don' get it until Tuesday. When I was checking on my Luke last week they told me that nothing happens on Mondays. However, some people have reported getting stuff on Monday, so there's always hope. Whenever he arrives--I hope you enjoy him!

I think I can hear the Fedex truck rolling down Hollywood Blvd, ok there he is just passing Graummans Chinese Theater just 2 blocks away!! Now he's turning -- DOH!, he took a left! Now he's parked up the street, ok, he's getting back in the truck, he's turning, coming this way! DOH!

Fedex usually gets here between 10:30 and 11:30. I can almost hear that knock on the door. Yes, Luke is imminent!

20 minutes later and it's here! I even had to sign for him. FedEx actually came through for me.

My first impressions are so much better than expected. As soon as I get some "alone time" with Luke I'll take some photos.
