And congrats to you, P! Awesome, isn't he?

Thanks Bro, SO much better in person and worth the wait, actually love the box, had some early misgivings but it works well and looks great. Now it's all-about Andy's Anakin which I think is gonna be something truly extraordinary!

I haven't taken him out of the box yet. But man, does he look good. That face! Wow. Before getting him in the mail, I was paranoid about the quality control of the paint app. But it is BEAUTIFUL!! How do they get the pupils so perfect and round? Thank you Sideshow.

But (yes there is still one thing I must criticize) as much as I hate to say it...the arms are too long. Please Sideshow, please change the bodies to have better proportioned arms.

What really frustrated me was when I showed Luke to my girlfriend who has no interest in Star Wars or 1/6 figures...her first comment was, "Why are his arms so long?" I said, "But look at the face! Doesn't that look just like Mark Hamill?" She replies, "Yes, but his fingers shouldn't be reaching his knees." Ahhhhh!!!

Sideshow, on behalf of girlfriend approval everywhere, please shorten the arms to normal length!:D

Seriously though, everything looks great, but the arms just need to be fixed. When standing perfectly straight, the tips of his fingers should reach the mid-length of his thighs. Shouldn't be that hard right? Oh, and I am also worried about hearing reports of his hands being too loose. I haven't opened the box yet, so I can't comment on this. But it sounds like they should have kept the original wrist connection...?

Awesome Seb! I just checked my Fed-Ex tracking info and Luke's already arrived at the Fed-Ex sorting station in Mississauga...He's only 45 minutes away from me! YEAH! But it also says a Tuesday, April 4th delivery date...

:lightsabe

Yep and mine has arrived at the Ottawa station, he's about 15 to 20 min. from me.

Justin- The hands will pop off pretty easily, but they should hold a pose just fine. And yes, the arms being too long would be the one slight criticism I would have. It is one of the things I noticed, but once you get him out and pose him you don't notice it much, if at all. Only those who keep him in the box with his arms straight down will be bothered by it.

I knew you'd come around Justin once you got yours.:lol The arms are a little longer than they should be but like Tom said once you pose him the way you want you won't notice.

Whoever designed the packaging gets an A+. It's by far the best presentation of a 1/6 figure that I've ever seen.

BTW, does anyone else see an Eric Mabius resemblance? It's especially apparent if you ever saw him on the now cancelled ABC show 'Eyes'.

No he doesn't.

And why is he still in the package???????

The box is a piece of art in itself. As great as Luke looks in the box, he looks amazing outside it. Let your Luke be free!

I got over the arm length pretty quick. It's such a minor thing compared to the overall look of the figure. The hand do come off fairly easy, but I wouldn't say they were loose.

As excited over the 1/6 line as I was, having Luke in hand notches it up. I really can't wait to get the next one.

Same here, MUCH better in person, got Both Ex and Reg!

AGREED pjam. I got my package today...a FULL day earlier than the Fed-EX tracking info speculated. I too got the EXCLUSIVE and REGULAR. So far I've only opened the Regular and all I can say is WOW! This figure is AMAZING! Definitely has to be seen in person to be fully appreciated. The sculpt is INCREDIBLE, the paint apps, accessories, everything...UNBELIEVABLE!!! SO GLAD Sideshow scored this license...Can't wait for more releases...and can't wait for a VADER to pose battling Luke!!! THANK YOU Sideshow, this figure is the BEST 12" Star Wars figure I've seen yet (at least from a North American manufacturer...) KUDOS!!!

Seb and Show...Have you received your Luke's yet???

No, unfortunately I have been having problems with Fed-Ex as well... As I look at my tracking number on-line, it seems that the package arrived in Ottawa last Friday but some reason was shipped back to California and then was shipped to Memphis?

On Saturday someone got a clue and shipped it to Mirabel in Quebec except that that is about two hours away from me instead of the 20 minutes in Ottawa. Now it's back in Ottawa again but yet I don't have it...

Now it says "package not due for delivery"... And after that it says "package to be cleared by Fed-Ex broker"... What the hell does that mean!?!

I have never had problems with Fed-Ex before, I guess there is a first time for evething,

Hey Seb, mine was actually the same...when I checked my tracking number on Saturday it said my package was 'clearance in progress' in Mississauga, just 45 minutes away from me, yet Sunday it said it was just shipping from California, then Memphis!!! I think I was a little premature in thinking it was already in Mississauga on Saturday by the 'Clearance in Progress' thing. Guess that really means that they contact ahead for all the paperwork. Probably the same thing for you...

Probably the 'paperwork' in Ottawa made it look like it actually WAS in Ottawa a few days ago by the 'Clearance in Progress' deal. Man, it's confusing, eh!

:banghead

Oh, and I also had to have my 'package cleared by a Fed-Ex broker'! And I had to pay $16 in PST and GST...but that was for the Exclusive AND the Regular shipped together.

All I can say is that it's worth the wait and you're gonna LOVE the Luke figure when you get him. Here's hoping it'll be tomorrow!!!

:D

Sadly, it's not the first time. I have had Fedex drive my Sideshow packages all over creation before. They did it again just recently with Luke. This is FAR from the first time Fedex has done it, but I feel bad that it had to happen to you. I don't see what's so hard about delivering a package, or how a box shipped to Canada could possibly be directed to Memphis by even a reasonably intelligent monkey, much less a "professional" shipping company.

Just thank the heavens that your package doesn't end up on a deserted island, or is Castaway a verb FedEx use? :monkey5

LOL Good one Creech. I had a package shipped to Orlando via Nashville. Damn monkeys, mess with my packages. :cuss :monkey4 I'm very carefully watching my Luke, he is in Orlando, so hopefully FedEx can get to the right address...
