Yeah, there's no comparison.

I think people who PAID for a Medicom Luke are just reluctant to admit they got boned on the price, great articulation or whatever.

Hey!!! I'm not reluctant to admit it at all.....

I GOT BONED!!! :monkey2 :monkey2 :monkey2

Does it count at all that the "Medibomb Luke" was a birthday present (from the same said "cool Dad") ???

Don't you feel better, Zaius?

Honestly, SS Luke is just clearly better than Medi-crap Luke and I'm getting frustrated reading all these posts (on other forums) about how Medi-con is still better.

I spent a lot on my custom Vader and custom Fett too, but when SS makes a better one, I'll be the first to yell -- YES, the Ultimate Vader (or Fett) is here. And I'll be happy I got a better one for less. (Then I'll weep privately for my lack of patience).

I find your lack of patience disturbing. Sorry, someone had to say it. Another Vader quote that would apply very well here is: "Let me look at you with my own eyes." It is really the only way to judge this Luke.

I normally don't really do anything but pose figures and throw them on my shelf, but since Luke is so cool to play around with, I decided to try and pose him as shown in the picture above.

Here's my attempt:

Bigger version here: Luke

Wow, great job man, I am seriously psyched at getting one of these bad boys. Hopefully they will be shipped out soon to the retailers.

All of my customs are place holders. The moment I get a whiff that SSC is making one, the custom is on ebay.
12" Ben is coming from SSC. Send me a link to your auction.

For those of you who are thinking of purchasing a Hasbro Luke and Speeder Bike for your Sideshow Luke here is what to expect.

First, there is SS Luke with Endor Helmet and poncho:

Protozaius, is your Hasbro Luke running around naked? Nice photos. I really enjoy seeing what people are doing with their SS Luke. I'm still waiting to get mine.

Here's what it will look like when we get VADER and LUKE together...

Very nice!
Is that a hurricane custom?

On the subject of Medicom Luke: I'm really happy I got it, it's a really fun action figure. When I get SST Luke I will be able to compare both in hand, but I'm sure SST's Luke's pros will outweigh Medicom's pros. That doesn't mean I will hate Medicom Luke.

Great pics of Luke on the Speeder Bike and they've helped me make up my mind on whether to get one from ebay. As for the debate on which Luke is best, the comparison pics in a previous post should leave anyone with decent eyesight with no doubt at all. If the Medicom figure was a lot cheaper then the bad likeness and minimal accessories could perhaps be overlooked to a degree but when the Sideshow version looks so much like Mark Hamill and has all the extra hands and stuff, for a great deal less $,then the Medicom figure to me just seems a waste of money and I'm glad I held off buying the Medicom figure when I heard that Sideshow were going to be making 12" SW figures.

Jennifer in customer service at SSC told me the Regular version of 12" Jedi Luke is shipping.

Can anyone confirm this, or has anyone who ordered the Regular Jedi Luke gotten their's yet?

Just curious.

Mortar Conn,
I posted an update of my regular Luke in the shipping thread, but I should have the regular version here in Chicago on monday. Hope this helps!

I can't remember what thread it was in but people were wondering what scale the Hasbro droids would be compaired to the SIdeshow figs.
Here's a quick pic for scale, looks right to me.
