hehe, thats the first auction ive seen like this. Im sure you'll get a pretty good amount for just a little blaster!

It seemed silly to keep it in my parts box when someone else might really want it.

Got my Luke exclusive today, and I really, really like it.

I'm definitely keeping it, and am looking forward to the rest of this line, as well as the LOTR line.

:)

Nice pics Sith Lord:DI like the 3rd pose..havent seen one like that yet!

Thanks!! It was tricky to get it into that pose because the reference picture had a lot of shadows. It's based on Luke's appearance from the cover of "Dark Empire" Issue #6. I had a picture of it in my "Art of Dave Dorman" book.

Damn Luke and his long arms!!!! Now I've found myself going thru ALL my Sideshow figures and switching bodies on the monkey armed ones. Man!!! They really remind me of the old Captain Action bodies with arms that long.

Those are some great pics Sith Lord... I think my favorite pics thus far have been pics depicting actual scenes with the scenes dropped in the background... Someone up to doing the scene where Palpatine is throwing force-lightening at Luke? That would be purty neat!

:emperor

Finally got a Luke! O M G this figure is awesome! My first SS figure ever and I AM BLOWN AWAY. :chew :chew :chew

Unbelievably awesome and the best SW figure EVER.

Okay, okay so I'm late to the party. One question, is there any trick to taking off his Jedi belt? You *do* need to remove it to get his tunic sash to fit correct?

I never took off the utility belt, and the sash seems to fit just fine.

Only time I ever took his belt off was to fit it OVER the sash to give him a sort of 'prequel Jedi' look. It takes some doing but looks pretty nifty. Otherwise it looks fine with the sash over the belt, just like it did in the movie.

My wife and I (okay mostly me) have been gushing over this figure off and on all night. It is simply...stupendous.

I've got him set up in "Sail Barge" attire: no robe, tunic on, and battle damaged hand. The exclusive edition would have been lost on me because I wouldn't have chosen a pistol pose over his saber.

Actually seeing and having a SS figure in person completely changes my previous plans to let go of Han, Mace, and Kit.

I'll sell off some Hasbro figures and a 1986 MOC GI Joe B.A.T.S. figure that I picked up off of ebay a couple of months ago.

I can't even *imagine* how awesome Bespin Luke is going to look with weathered fatigues, old school saber, and gun belt.

Then there's LOTR and...I'm absolutely, utterly hooked on this line.

I cannot wait to build a collection! Exclusive Anakin is due to arrive Wednesday, yahoo! :chew :chew :chew

There’s something I have to say about this figure (I hope you haven’t talked about that before).
First at all, I must to say that I love this SideShow Luke. I love the choice SideShow made with his clothes, the changeable hands and the face doesn’t bother me.
BUT… (there is always a “but”) What I don’t really like is the cloak.
I’m still wondering why SideShow can’t worry a little more about the quality of the clothes. Maybe it’s just my cloak, maybe yours doesn’t have that problem, but I’ve seen the photos you posted before and it seems that every cloaks has the same problem.
It seems that a 5 year old child took a scissor, and with his eyes closed, he started to cut the cloak!!!! :google
I mean, you can see the sides sewed, but when you look inside you will see an irregular cut. Also, the bottom part of the cape is not sewed and it’s frayed, all I got are filaments :slap
The other thing I noticed is that my Luke needs an orthopaedic shoe!
Yes, his right leg is longer than his left leg (or if you prefer, his left leg is shorter). Maybe it could be solved easily.
As I said before, I don’t know if is it just my figure or if you had the same problem. I’m still very happy with this figure, but I think SideShow can make it better.;)
