Seeing some of the Batman poses in other threads got me wondering how it would look if I photographed Luke with his cloak sculpted in such a way that it looks windblown.

Here's the result.

Very nice! :D Luke will always remain my favourite 12" figure....until they come up with a 12" Palpatine, that is!:monkey5

For all his flaws (which I've had to fix), Anakin is my personal favorite.

Of course, that'll be until Sidious is released as well! :) :emperor

Thanks for the compliment. I absolutely love doing these Photoshop projects with these figures.

Very nice SithLord and a surprisingly Star Wars-esque background!!!

Thanks, pixletwin! Surprisingly, it's some random computer-generated image I found in Yahoo! Images (searched for "desert"). The pedestal rock, though, was from another pic entirely.

I wanted something that visually exuded the idea of a noble and powerful Jedi Master but also harkened back to the young farmboy of Episode IV...hence Luke standing on a cliff with a setting sun (which ended up being cropped out because the placement wasn't right).

I got this guy coming again ( i regret selling mine a few years back)

Whats the best way to get the crappy look of the hips filled up? (i remember this being a problem cause of the buck) Cotton? Toilet paper etc?

Finally i will have all the lukes!!!!(Except Yavin he is not Luke :))

I know. I plan on posing him just with the black suit on. But we'll see. (time to get some cotton balls i guess.)

thx

Put him on a HT body. Nothing you do can make him look good in just the jump suit while on a Buck body.

Yeah i was kinda thinkin that. How hard was the head conversion? (just a TT work?)

Although edwint came close

If you do do it, make sure you get one of the new Trutype bodies. They have new wrist posts that fit Sideshow hands perfectly.

The older Trutype bodies had different wrist pots that don't work well with Sideshow hands.

I just got one of the Truetypes today and was messing around with putting some of the Sideshow stuff on the body. It comes with a neck post similar to the Sideshow ones. So the head is a really simple swap like King Darkness said. However...the lip that you have to get the head over is considerably wider than the Sideshow one. So heat the head up very well and use firm, steady pressure to put it on and twist it back and forth at the same time. It will likely be somewhat more difficult to remove the head from the Truetype with that lip being as wide as it is if you ever want to.

I used cotton on mine. Its only an issue if you pose him sans vest.

Yup, with the vest on, he looks fine, and it's probably unnoticeable if you go vest off and pose him in a dueling stance, that stance also helps mix him with Medi Vader.
