I think the TT is too large of a body for Luke. I just swapped Jedi Lukes body with a Bespin Luke one and threw on Bespin Hans boots. He looks great, even is just the black jumpsuit.

Since I've got the Farmboy Luke coming, I plan on using the short body for Jedi. Still not 100% on what I'll use the head for, either pop-it on Yavin or maybe use it on my Marmit stormie kit.

40$ shipped can't beat that.

It's a little trick. I push the under flaps back a bit in the hood so they don't lie on each other. (and shape the hood around the face) Trial and error i guess.

Cool, this thread is alive again.

Jedi Luke is still one of my favorites, can't really explain i but this was my first figure and was really blown away how well made it is.

Yeah it's a pity SS didn't really improve much on their other luke releases

The Jedi Luke was my 4th SS figure. The first three were BARNES, ELIAS, and TAYLOR from PLATOON. I love this figure, BUT, after a little futzing with the ESB LUke, it is by far one of the best figures in the entire line. Hot tea treatment on the uniform shrunk it up just a little bit, and made it a little darker. I added some black pastel to the uniform while still wet to get the ground in grime look. Every time I look at that figure I am just in awe...

Oh on the Jedi LUke, if you have the 1/6 biker scout from Hasbro, the poncho on the back is pretty much Identical to Luke's ENDOR look sans the helmet...I will post pictures soon.

I've got a Jedi Luke on the way from a fellow Freak. I've heard some people swapping him over to the True-type to eliminate the monkey arms. How does that work out? And can the hands fit on the TT as well?

Finally got my first Star Wars, Jedi Luke. Got it MISB from a collector in my country. Price is about what you all have to pay for a new one back then. Still a fair price for me, especially when compared to the soaring prices of Hot Toys and Medicom these days.

First impression, impressive head sculpt. It screams Mark Hamill. To me, of all the Luke figures, this one has the best likeness. Just so happens, I am also a fan of the ROTJ look.

Despite complaints about the large head, weird expression, and monkey arms, I them a non issue in person. Yes, the figure do have a harder than usual to work with expression and a head that looks too big, and monkey arms fresh out of the box but with some proper posing, it's a non issue.

In fact, it's a very fun figure with lots of posing options due to the generous accessories. Yes, the Buck body ain't the best but at least it feels more solid than a Medicom body. I will be on the verge of a heart attack each time I play with my Black Spidey. Not so with Luke, solid and with a little bit of work, I can pull of some really cool pose which you guys will get to see soon.

Despite inital plan of upgrading the Buck to a HT TT, now it's not needed as I can almost any poses I want from the Buck.

Hands on mine are solid. Pops in and out easily and it stays even with lots of posing and playing. My only complain is the really solid boots. Makes it had to balance without a stand.

Overall, I am really happy with this purchase. Now I am eyeing more figure from this line, namely Obi Wan, Anakin, Mace, Darth Maul, Emperor, and of course Darth Vader. Here are some pics I took, forgive the quality, it's late and the lighting is just bad. Enjoy.
