Hey,

Can anyone recommend some "leather" boots for Luke Jedi? Any chance "leather" boots are easier to remove/put on than the SSC boots?

Thanks

Thanks for spamming. :banana

:nono................come on CP.............there was some pre-spamming going on before his post. give the noob a break.......although "we shall watch your career with great interest"..........:lol

Actually it wasn't a spam at all. I made the comment cause I liked the guys video...reminded me of how excited I was to get my very first SSC figure. Up until then, the only 1/6th scale stuff I bought was Hasblow SW stuff...now I'm a 1/6 scale nut!:monkey5

After I posted, I realized I had my 200th post (not my 3000th and something...wonder how many of those could be considered spam?) and went back an edited the post.

Sorry if my excitement ignited your arrogance:naughty

jk:wacky

They never really improved on this figure in the Star Wars line did they? Fair enough, the Old Ben figure is probably better, but old guys are much easier to sculpt. That figure aside, it's a shame the line never lived up to what this promised. I guess they must have put a lot more into this one because they used it to win and launch the license.

This entire post is an oxymoron. Old guys are much easier to sculpt? There's more detail on an old face than a young one. Then you say Luke is the best but then state that Old Ben is better. Hey everybody, we have a real life almost-celeb here. Captain Britain is really Senator John Kerry in cheesy Marvel superhero disguise!:p

P.S. Senator Kerry, when's the last time you visited Sideshow's site? Palpatine/Sidious, Armored Obi, Vader, Stormtrooper, the Utapau Clone, they're hitting homeruns with their latest releases.

When did CB say Luke was the best?

It is generally consider that older people are easier to sculpt to look like the actor/person BECAUSE of their more detailed face than young people.

And your post isn't much better....
Especially considering the fact that about 90% of the figures you mentioned have not been released yet. And also the fact that clone kenobi has loose joints on multiple peoples figures and while a great fig can't be considered a "homerun". I tend to agree with CB for the most part, they have not improved on their lukes at all.(except monkey arms)

If I had to pick a favorite Luke, it'd be the Bespin Luke, but that's not what I understood his post to mean. What I got from reading his post was that Sideshow hadn't improved the line since the release of their first figure, Jedi Luke. 90%? Can you even count? It's only 50% considering Palps was a twofer. If you want to start talking about the ones that HAVE been released, Boussh wasn't bad (better than Jedi Luke), Kit, Mace, Palpatine, Jabba, Bib, etc. Fact is, there've admittedly been a few turds, but there've also been some great releases. I don't think "loose joints" should denote an action figure (even though I have yet to get one that actually HAS loose joints and I own them all). We're talking sculpt, paint and quality.
