Yeah i'll say it before and i'll say it again. It's too bad SS couldn't improve on the ROTJ luke, how do you even go from giving us a great EP6 Luke and then the others especially Yavin? You're supposed to get better not worse.

Anyways i still look at my ep6 Luke and love it. I was never bothered by the expression i always thought it fit the character at the time. My favorite SS figure along with kenobi.

He's a nice figure, I just think ANH and Bespin edge him out.

:horror

Really?:horror

Wow!! I mean i understand the monkey arms and all but how do you feel on straight up sculpt and paint? To me it's not even close.

(ANH would be 2nd for me)

For me

ROTJ>ANH>ESB>Yavin.

The Jedi Luke just has something extra I can't put my finger on. :dunno

Noggin is friggin huge and the hands look even bigger with the slim jumpsuit. The boots are weak and ss keeps using them over and over and over.

A new ROTJ Luke is much needed. Not by Matt Falls or Medicom. Though Matt is responsible for most of Sideshow's craptacular likenesses, I think his ROTJ Luke is by far the best.

I'm not sure I understand what you're saying here.

In any case, I wouldn't want Sideshow to remake a figure they've already done. It kind of makes the whole "limited edition" thing meaningless.

I'm actually with EF on this one. While the ROTJ is definitely Hamill, and there is a heavy feeling of nostalgia behind him being Sideshow's first venture into 1:6 Star Wars, I do think the Bespin is better with ANH close behind. Although, I suppose if there was ever a flood in your area, Jedi Luke's bobble-sized head could double as a flotation device, so there's always that.

Likeness is there, just too big. Falls has done some great figures.

Give us a sculpt/hair like this:

Poncho, second head with helme and release him as Endor Luke.

This is a great idea!

I just bought a Yavin Luke for v.cheap and looking forward to swapping out the body for my RotJ Luke. I may even use the head sculpt for my ANH Luke... but first I need to see if it is as bad in hand as it is in the photos.

It doesn't necessarily need to be from Sideshow. If some artist did a commission, I'm down for that.

The "limited edition" thing is already meaningless as 1/6 SW is concerned. Besides the ROTJ Luke, what other figures have maintained or appreciated in value? :duh

With comments like this one its hard to understand why Sideshow VIPs post less and less here.

I think Jedi Luke was the first Sideshow figure to claim the title of "Better in person than in photos". In photos, the eyes have an almost "sleepy" or "goofy" look to them but in hand, it just works. The noggin is a little big and the Buck body really shows it's flaws, particularly in the tight fitting outfit, but the figure is still one of my favorites.

I think one of my favorite Jedi Luke pics was the one from Monk. I even copied the pose... ;)

Monk, please repost if possible. (the one of him looking at his gloved hand.)
