I see Porkins and Beans all of the time when I go to the grocery store.

The complexity with Sideshow is that they produce far more different products than anyone else. Figures, premium format statues with clothes like figures, straight-up regular statues with paint, half size stuff, full size stuff, dinosaurs, etc. Just a wide array of stuff which would make it nearly impossible to manufacture under one roof. Most of these other guys have the benefit of specializing in one specific kind of product.
Well Hot Toys doesn't just do clothed, 1/6 scale figures, either. They also have 1/4 scale figures with multiple, newly developed bodies, robots/men in robot suits, vehicles, Cosbabies, vinyl figures, the Power Pose figures, busts, and small replica statues like the Matrix Sentinel. Yet they do all of these really well.

They still do a fraction of the variety of Sideshow. I'm sure they farm some stuff out as well and there's an enormous advantage to being right next door - that can't be overlooked. Sideshow need to have multiple people in asia at the factories at all times - and they probably do, but that's still not the same as being right there. And none of this is an excuse, it's just the current reality - problems to be solved.

Eckhart was played by the guy that played Porkins??? That's crazy , because the guy that played Biggs, played the tourist that mugged in this movie as well. Mind blown!

And Lando was Harvey Dent!

Too bad this Luke will be too tall, just like the Hoth version. He needs to be a couple of centimetres shorter than the listed 12"/30cm size.

Matt Bischoff confirmed in the TOD Indy thread that Tychus will be the last figure with the separate eye system and that Indy, X-Wing Luke, and Jango Fett will all have eyes sculpted into the heads. :yess:

That's true.

Wonder why there's no Horsey Horse? Or Fishy Fish?

There is a Fishy Fish... Monty Python's The Meaning of Life... "Fishy Fishy Fish, how I loved him so. Fishy Fishy Fish, he went wherever I did go..."

The fish in the aquarium thought it was brilliant.
