Porkins was the "Top Men" guy in Raiders? AND Eckhart? Mind blown.

So what other actors have been in the greatest number of iconic franchises?

I know there's Bruce Spence:

Mad Max series
Matrix series
Lord of the Rings
Star Wars

Hugo Weaving:

Matrix
LOTR
MCU
and Megatron if Bayformers counts

Julian Glover is also Grand Maester Pycelle in Game of Thrones.

And of course...

Harrison Ford is Han Solo, Indiana Jones, Rick Deckard and Jack Ryan.

Liam Neeson is Ras Al Ghul, Qui-Gon Jinn, Hannibal Smith, Darkman, Zeus, Aslan, Oskar Schindler plus those badasses from Taken and The Grey.

Ian McKellen is Gandalf and Magneto.

Patrick Stewart is Jean-Luc Picard and Charles Xavier.

Also, Ben Affleck has played three superheroes (if you count George Reeves as Superman) and Jack Ryan.

Chris Evans is Captain America and The Human Torch.

Ryan Reynolds is the Green Lantern and Deadpool.

Daredevil was one of the better Marvel movies released to date, IMO, not sure why people hate on it. Better than all the other non-MCU movies and better than some of those too. Go figure.

But I don't consider Jack Ryan a superhero, nor George Reeves (playing an actor playing a superhero is not the same thing). ;)

90+% of movies are forgettable. I have yet to see any Marvel-based movie that isn't. My most memorable Superhero movies are all DC, Reeve Superman 1+2, Batman 89 and Batman Begins.

Zoe Saldana:

POTC
Avatar (well, it will EVENTUALLY be a franchise :lol)
MCU
Star Trek

Andy Serkis will be the first to have roles in the Big Three:

LOTR
Star Wars
MCU

plus Planet of the Apes.

First of all... you can't say MCU. Just pick one of the franchise series. i.e. GOTG

(Saying MCU is kind of like saying Spielberg-type movies back in the 80's... it's way too broad.)

Secondly, since when did LOTR count as "the big franchise"? It's over. It's hardly one of the Big Three unless that's your big three.

I'd say Batman is bigger. Much bigger. I'd also say BOND is bigger. MUCH bigger.

So I'd say THE BIG THREE = Star Wars, Bond and Batman.

I just can't call the entire MCU a single franchise. If so, it would be the biggest. Maybe in time we'll see which really pans out as the success. Avengers or Captain America is my obvious guess.

Sure I can. It's a single persistent world franchise with a common pool of characters that can appear in any given film. Is Rogue Squadron not going to be a Star Wars film? Sure it will. The MCU is only "broad" because Marvel is pumping out one to two films each year. But volume doesn't make it not a franchise. "Batman" used to be it's own franchise, but now it's a DCCU thing. And it's got nothing on Marvel...yet.

Bond over Middle-Earth? Crazy talk.

Doesn't the actor's face have to be actually visible to count in this game, like physically seen in the movie?

So where is the Bruce Spence custom thread ?he's clearly the head sculpt we deserve but not the one we need right now.

Big three? You guys are nuts. There's a BIG ONE and it's Star Wars. That's it. ;)

But seriously, if you wanted to pick other signature series, Star Trek is top-three material. I don't think Batman fits in there.

MCU counts IMO, because it's fairly tight. At the moment, with the exception of GotG, it's all about the Avengers.

Anybody know if they were previously offering $10 flat rate shipping on this? I swear it used to be here, but in any case its gone now and I'm not very interested in playing UPS roulette with sideshow yet again.

With all the HT releases, I'm seriously considering passing on this and waiting for the ESB version. Knowing my luck I'll try and hold out and when I get this, there will be an announcement. You guys can thank me later :(

I was going to hold out, but decided life was too short and will be getting this one. And cursing the Toy Gods when ESB is announced.
