Kit Update: Holter & Leg Brace

Holster is done, and the pictures below are of what you'll receive. Used a figure laying around to try it out on and show how it fits.

And, the prototype of the Leg Brace is done. You will receive one done in all silver metal with 2 small pieces of styrene. The kit will include the premade metal pieces, belts, and bolts. You will get to do the assembly, but it's pretty simple. We'll include some instructions just in case.

What we're going to do is finish up the shoulder pad, and that will be it for the kit. Hopefully we'll have everything done and available in a couple weeks. We may do a few more of the smaller pieces, but they'll just be available individually as we make them.

On another note, just sent off a Max head to Kuato for his Riggs transformation. Shouldn't be too long before he has some pics to show.

Hi Toy Anxiety. I just checked your website and there are 15 of the "wastelander" aka Mad Max head sculpts right now. I definitely want to buy one, and not miss out on it. But how does your kit price work for board members here? Meaning should I go ahead and buy the head sculpt now while there's 15 of them left?

Then, will you offer a special "kit price" for us board members for the gas cans with the pole, the dog food can, the shotgun and holder, the leg brace, and the shoulder pad?

Yeah, I can't wait to see pictures of the Mel Gibson as Martin Riggs head sculpt! I'm gonna get that one too!

Don't worry about the quantities on the head. The initial plan was to offer the kit at a discounted price to people who bought the head, but we might revise that. No matter what, if you buy the head, you'll get the opportunity at the kit with a discount. We will probably have a deadline on that discount though. Once the initial head/kit sales have completed, the kit items will no longer be available as a set, only individualy. We'll announce all that at once when the kits are ready to go.

Well, I think I need to buy a Max head from you soon. Before they sell out. I won't worry about it until after I get one. If you are going to offer a discount on the Max Road Warrior kit, that is great for those of us on here that have bought the head already.

Witekite, is the buckle you're concerned about the main belt that his holster hangs from? Until just now I'd always thought it was part of the jacket. I looked at madmaxcostume.com and saw that it's a separate belt slung around the jacket waist. I'll bet we'll have better luck looking for a parted out belt than a buckle.

The belt max wears is a Sam Browne belt. Did make them in a brown, just needs to be painted.

well I cant use a parted out belt because I need to make it multiple times...I am the one who is making all the accessories for max and plan on doing the belt but need buckles. this isn't a custom for me it is for the kit so I need multiple buckles to make multiple belts

Oh, and I've started sculpting the dog. I don't know how long it will take, or if it will even turn out good, but I'll keep you updated and show pics when I have something to show. This will NOT be part of the kit though, and if it works out will be available individually sometime in the future.

I want the Max head sculpt, and the entire Mad Max Road Warrior kit Toy Anxiety. I haven't had the chance to buy the head yet. I'm trying to sell some figures on the board here to help me get the whole Max kit from you.

I'm VERY interested in Max's dog too! I'd like to see pictures of it once you're done with sculpting it to decide if I want it or not. Any idea on the price for the dog yet?

Not a clue. I have no idea how good or bad it will turn out, how long it will take me to sculpt, how much it will cost to cast, etc. Just be patient on this one, and hope for the best.

Again, I'll post WIP pictures when it looks more like a dog then a blob of sculpy, and that's after an hour's worth of work already
