Oh yeah! This guy is incredible! I have visited his site before in the past. His work is awesome! I think I talked to him a few times too. Nice guy. :)

No, it's not just you. To me it's very cool too. As you show he actually had two looks in the movie. He started out the movie in the bottom picture with the longer hair and robes, and then went back to his police looking outfit (well at least his old police leather jacket) like he had in The Road Warrior at the end of Thunderdome...back to his shorter hair cut.

I think i'm gonna go with that look, hides the joints too. I know Thunderdome is not the best of the three (can't beat The Road Warrior obv.), but i've come to appreciate it more.

Yeah, I've got all three on DVD. I've watched them in this order:
1.) The Road Warrior
2.) Mad Max Beyond Thunderdome
3.) Mad Max (I now have the Australian soundtrack edition with Mel Gibson's original dialogue. Not the over-dubbed voice that sounds horrible coming out of his mouth!)

But Thunderdome is a great movie. I just don't watch it as much. I have to stick with his look from The Road Warrior. I love it, and I've already got most of the outfit together now. :wave

I think so Mr. E. The "Lethal Weapon" himself! I really want to get a Riggs head sculpt and make a custom Martin Riggs. :)

Hey, that reminds me of a line in Lethal Weapon. Where Riggs and the "jumper" go off the side of the building and jump on the inflatable mat.

"Do you wanna jump? Do you really"? :wink1:

Any idea where one would acquire 1/6 scale buckles like the ones on Max's boots? Looking to make some custom harnesses. Thanks fellas.

I suggest you order six of each size buckle, that way you have extras and you can find the right size. It's really hard to tell just how big or small they will be until you have them in hand and you will save yourself a headache if you just order all the sizes.

Thanks for the lead. Yeah those measurements and sizes are kind of confusing, Im still trying to figure out what they are referring to. Do you have any experience with them?

I have purchased buckles from them in the past, maybe a year or so ago. The buckles are stamped out of thin metal sheets. You probably want the two smallest sizes for boot and harness buckles. The two larger sizes are better for belts and straps. As for the measurements, they refer to the width of the buckle, but you can't really pull out a ruler and get a good idea of what one will look like on a figure. They aren't that expensive, so it's best just to order multiple sizes.

Hey ToyAnxiety,

Any word on when the kit pieces will be available on your site? Ive located most of the bits and pieces but Im hoping you guys are still going to be offering the shotgun/holster, shoulder pad, etc. ???
