AFI's list is ridiculously biased against anything that came out after the the 70's. Of their top *100* only 12 films of the last 35 years made the cut:

Schindler's List
Raging Bull
E.T. The Extra-Terrestrial
Amadeus
Raiders of the Lost Ark
Tootsie
The Silence of the Lambs
Forrest Gump
Dances with Wolves
Platoon
Fargo
Goodfellas
Pulp Fiction

No Unforgiven, Braveheart, Shawshank (yes I know we're all sick of it but it deserves to be up there,) or Fellowship of the Ring? Come on.

More 90's movies were added in the second edition they did in 2007; I agree with a lot of the AFI's picks, but they definitely are more biased to movies made before the 1970s.

But my personal top 10 is:

1. Ishtar
2. Ishtar
3. Ishtar
4. Ishtar
5. Ishtar
6. Ishtar
7. Ishtar
8. Ishtar
9. Catwoman
10. Ishtar

With a special mention to Freddy Got Fingered

I don't even want to know. :lol

There were some creepy images when I googled Revoltech Woody, not taking a chance with this one. :lol

It's a Tom Green movie, an absolute masterpiece, so good it got 11% on Rotten Tomatoes! Wow!

It's the movie that Roger Ebert famously loved so much that he said:

This movie doesn't scrape the bottom of the barrel. This movie isn't the bottom of the barrel. This movie isn't below the bottom of the barrel. This movie doesn't deserve to be mentioned in the same sentence with barrels.

Don't worry, I'll bring the trauma to you.

Catwoman should be No. 10. Every other movie is ranked exactly where it should be, except for that last Ishtar, which should be No. 9.

I remember watching it in theaters, but don't remember much other than the meat piano and Rip Torn not robbing banks.

There weren't too many great movies made in the 90's. Weak decade for film.

Also, you really need a little distance sometimes to see what holds up... otherwise things like Avatar would be on there and then everyone would be embarrassed.

T2? Lion King? Heat? Unforgiven? saving private ryan? Braveheart? Jurassic Park? Pup Fiction? Shawshank Redemption? Schindler's List? Goodfellas? Se7en? The Professional? Casino?

Such weak 90s flicks.

Also some of the Coen's best work--Miller's Crossing, Barton Fink, Fargo, the Big Lebowski. Bottle Rocket and Rushmore, Silence of the Lambs, Reservoir Dogs, Glengarry Glenn Ross, Toy Story, LA Confidential, The Usual Suspects, Woody Allen did some good films like Deconstructing Harry, El Mariachi and Desperado, Office Space (one of the greatest comedies ever made IMO),

True, true. I wouldn't write off the '90s by any means.
