She was, loved her.
But I'm more interested in building up Max's character than I am hers.
His name comes before "Fury Road" in the title.
Him honoring her death by finishing the mission would've made him the ultimate bad ass once again!
I guess I have to settle for just a cool dude.
I don't think Max needs any more building up, he's a legend at this point, Furiosa does, I'd love to know more about her.
As for Max just being a cool dude, man, here comes this nameless guy, barely speaks, who hijacks your ride, then pretty much gets you through an impossible mission with both brains and brawn, and then just walks away.... What is more badass than that?
Furiosa dying would've been totally unnecessary, and very anti-climactic to say the least, we don't need another woman in the fridge in Max's life, the one that helped create Mad Max is enough.

I was only joking with fosing, I posted those figuring Khev enjoys filling his movie experiences with some additional background material.
Of course the new movie does it way better, I just thought it was cool to see a pole being used to get onto a rig in the original MM movie.
But talk about respecting what has been accomplished before, go to the 2:10 mark of this bts RW video and watch the insanity, this would never be allowed today! Cardboard boxes.
Just wow, will you look at him flipping! He drove into that car at full speed!
He is lucky to be alive! The flipping part was not intended, that was because the stunt didn't go as planned, although i'm sure GM loved the end result especially since the stunt guy lived, it looks incredible on film!
Plus the Wez/Feral kid reunion

Yes, for a $350,000 production MM is pretty much flawless. A genre defining, hell a genre *creating* film.
