She said Hugh's method acting caught her off guard and when she looked out of the War Rig he was sitting in his ride and looked across at her with such menace that she nearly fainted.

that's awesome. There's this clip where he first comes on set and the war boys start screaming "Immortan!" and doing the prayer hands. Guy was a total bad ass.

Funnily enough, even in Australia we had never heard of her for years until she shot to fame a few yrs back when she was a top model in Europe!

I just got back from seeing this.took my dad.best movie this year bar none.
Made Avengers look as weak as it was really!
Only movie I am still anticipating being the best movie this year in The Force Awakens!
This is a great 2nd.only thing is...I wish Mel was Max, not Hardy.he was barely audible.

So my friend made me see Pitch Perfect 2 today since I made her see GOTG and kingsmen. Tried to make her see Fury Road but she wasn't having any of it. We might go next week though.

So all I need to ask is one thing. How the **** did this ****** ass movie do better than the gloriousness that is Fury Road.

Just got back... Enjoyed it but am surprised but the reviews it's getting.. My friend even heard that some think it should be nominated for an Oscar. That there is crazy talk.

I enjoyed it. I liked it more then Avengers AOU.

I will have to see it again but I think The Road Warrior is still my fav.

Pick something you didn't like about it.

JAWS hated AoU and that's his way of giving lukewarm praise to Fury Road.

Guess he hates Jaws then too. Weirdo.

Yeah he just liked the poster. And the James Bond villain.

I definitely still like Road Warrior more. I saw Fury Road twice and love it so much....but it comes down to Mel Gibson and how much I love him more in the role of Max than Tom Hardy. Hardy is great in his own way...but Mel is so much more charismatic and his Max made me feel for him and root for him in ways Hardy cannot. Plus Mel is just the ultimate cool anti hero.

Yes. It's his blue eyes, makes him sympathetic and seem empathetic. Mel IS Max. Always will be. Someone here said it best: Mel is the Connery of Mad Maxs.
