It was R Rated. I want it to have a M rating, the highest one available. Some cuts seemed to be fast in order to keep it R. I am sure there will be another version.
But, I mean, what do you think an M rating would add to the movie? I don't see it.

I also don't see how they were trying to keep it R, everything flowed perfectly imo.

If it's graphic violence, it doesn't need it.

If Mel had been casted in the role the film would have been full Mature.

For sure.

There isn't any way an M is going to benefit anything. I don't need to see Splendid's death dragged out or anymore of Joe's face. And like someone else said, I like that the bodies don't explode apart but bounce off things like they have a real weight to them.

In the Mature version, there's a whole sequence where Doofus and Max do battle on his speeding truck and Doofus' PJs get ripped away and we learn that he's been made into both male and female.

The unedited Fury Road is actually primarily about the Doof Warrior's journey. Max, Furiosa and the others are all side characters in his great quest to shred the perfect riff, while shooting flames into the night sky.

Doof probably didn't even know he was taken by Joe, or hooked into a moving car, or involved in a chase, he just wanted to shred. Poor guys a victim. :lol

Speaking of all the mental and physical disabilities in FR, were they caused by fallout or IJ's depleted semen (or was IJ's depleted semen caused by the fallout...?)

Miller said that in keeping with the tradition of having Bruce Spence play a confusing alternate character that the Doof Warrior will be back. But he won't be the Doof Warrior, he'll be Max's tag along comic relief buddy even though he'll look exactly the same and play the same flaming guitar.

:lol

Thunderdome is worthy, I like that they advanced the timeline a good chunk of years to the point where all gas is gone and the vehicles no longer resemble whatever they used to be before the war. And hey I finally recalled a bad guy who actually died; the driver of the vehicle that exploded against the oncoming train.

Though it's very weird that all the kids' parents left them after the plane crash to get help and not one remained to help them out.

Hey think about this. Both Ultron and Immortan Joe wanted a new body birthed that would live on in a crumbled apocalypse. :panic:
