One of my favorite movie lines ever, with its thrilling delivery, comes from Thunderdome. I really like that movie.

Finally saw Fury Road yesterday and was totally blown away. Simply, exemplary. Surely will be on my top 10 list at the end of the year. The fact that this film even exists, is a miracle and testament to the artistry of George Miller. I was someone who was very much against this film when it was announced and was definitely not believing any of the hype from the test screenings from last year or the year before for that matter. But I'm a convert now and cannot wait to see what Miller does next with this character and his world. 10/10

Saw it, loved it, would very much like to see a line of Hot Toys figures and a sequel.

Saw it for the third time tonight, this time with my oldest brother who did not want to see Fury Road because Mel was not Max. Pleased to report he loved it and all he said after it was over was "wow....just wow". My experience for the third time was Hardy settling in with me as Max. I even grew to love his line delivery and his growl he sometimes gave. And he was super cool in so many scenes. I love when he finally gets his mask off on top of the tanker. A great shot of Max in his uniform and Hardy's coming out shot as the new Mad Max. I seriously feel I will be watching this film more than any other film I have seen in the last 10 years. The energy, the design, the perfect choreographed chase/fight scenes, the characters, everything about it I love more with each viewing. This will find a place next to my beloved Alien/Aliens, Conan the Barbarian, Star Wars trilogy, Terminator/T2, Predator, and of course Road Warrior as my most watched films and something I will have memorized and quote frequently. If we never get another Mad Max film...at least Miller sent off the series on a serious high note.

What thread jye4ever is going to obsess over (or dare I say, troll) for weeks once the hype dies down over this movie :wink1:

I am an ugly troll, I only gave FR a 90 out of 100. :lol

I know that I suck for giving RW a 95. :lol

Sorry about the last story I linked that actually states FR is as good as RW.
