MAFEX Batman v Superman: DOJ Action Figures

Isn't MAFEX the company that produces those figures with arms and legs that keep falling out?

I own a Bale Batman (TDK) that I believe to be made by MAFEX. Althought the sculpt is terrific, his arms and legs keep falling out, WTH.
I was so disappointed once I got him outta the box.

I would love to see Figuarts make a Ledger joker and the Batman Begins suit. Mafex really messed up on their Ledger joker.

That Joker just looks so.... Ehhh....
I think the Mafex Joker definitely did a better job in capturing the likeness, but either way I still don't like ANY of Mr. J's SS outfits.

Harley on the other hand looks just like Margot Robbie. Best head sculpt I've seen so far for this interpretation of the character. I think the entire figure looks fantastic. I'm assuming we will end up getting a Mafex Harley Quinn though, so I might wait to see that first.

That would be awesome, but I think Ledger's Joker has been done to death. There's so many figures of that interpretation, and with this new DCEU we're going to be seeing less and less TDKT stuff. As an action figure, the Mafex Ledger Joker is fantastic. But in terms of likeness it's awful.

Their older figures are known to have those issues, but I think most of their latest stuff is a lot better. I have their Darth Vader and ASM2 Spidey. Spidey does have some loose joints, but I have zero problems with Vader.

Thanks for the info! I'll give them a try if I like Leto's performance as the Joker.

I actually kinda don't mind loose joints, but arms and legs falling out is unacceptable to me. Seriously, their Bale Bats can't even stand on his own. I can't even move his arms and legs, as they will pop out no matter how kindly I move them.
I was about to get Mafex's Ledger Joker, but I canceled my plans due to the bad experience with Bale Bats. Will get the Neca 7'' Ledger Joker eventually.

It looks pretty nice actually, but I think SHF has the best one by a little.

Although this one looks like it has better poseability.

Yea, I agree. I think the way to go would be Figuarts Harley and Mafex Joker.

Here's pictures of the Figuarts and Mafex figures side by side. The Mafex Harley is pretty good, but that Figuarts headsculpt has blown me away.

SH has a better laughing sculpt, but Mafex got the fishnet stocking right. The Sh legs look too pale,imo.

Yea I noticed that too, but it doesn't bother me too much. Do we know if the Figuarts comes with a neutralish face?

It should, since most...if not all of their figures come with multiple face sculpts. I do think the SH legs and body look more accurate to the actress' body.

To be fair, the figuarts Harley shown above is a 2up prototype, meaning it's a bigger scale than what will be released. (At least that's what I read somewhere)

Still, it will probably look no different when it's released in the correct scale as I collect Star Wars figuarts and the quality is second to none

I'm pretty sure the Figuarts Harley is at regular size, she's being held up with a Tamashii Stage Act arm and waist grabber.

Mafex looks nice, but unlike Figuarts I just don't trust them to deliver on their prototypes. I'll be waiting for in-hand reviews of everything they currently have up for preorder before committing to throwing money their way.
