Yeah, you can even ask the sellers and they aren't allowed to say they aren't bootlegs [emoji38] because if they say they aren't, and they obviously are, then upon dissatisfaction after receiving them you can file for a refund and you'll win and keep the figures, so they are upfront about it and they'll tell you if it is or isn't.
So best thing you can do is ask them before buying.
I don't buy Bootlegs or "Brandless" or "surplus", but I was about to buy Gordon Freeman once, and I was sure it was legit because the pics were VERY high res and it look phenomenal, but I asked the seller and he told me it wasn't a bootleg, that it was a brandless factory something from the same run and same factory as the originals, just, without NECA's consent obviously. So I cancelled, but it looked really good. I've read reviews and they say you can't tell them apart.
And I've asked around other NECA sellers, like with Reeve Supes and stuff, and they say the same thing, but the quality gap is more noticeable in Reeve Supes.
So yeah, ask them, they should be upfront about it and it's not like you're gonna eat up a lie when it comes from China [emoji38]
