I'm enjoying seeing them lose and their fans in agony, they talked so much crap when they were beating my Dodgers. :D

The typical Yankee fans that can't be reasoned with. Anything you say to them will be met with "27 RINGS!!!".

Last night at the Bruins game they made fun of the Yankees elimination during trivia on the big screen which got a huge response. I sometimes wonder if my fellow Sox fans derive more joy from the Sox winning or Yankees losing.

Lol...agreed. Living in Tampa most of my life I had to deal with this a lot at the Rays games. It'd get really bad when the Rays would win, and every Yankees fans would start talking about how many WS they've won and how the Rays haven't won one yet.

He's the guy that interfered with ball hit by Cano that gave the Yankees a homerun. He should've been thrown out. He was giving the Rangers outfielder a hard time.

Fans' treatment of Cliff Lee's wife at Yankee Stadium was ugly, but it might not have hurt the Yankees' recruitment of one of the game's top left-handed pitchers.

During the American League Championship Series games in New York between the Yankees and Rangers, fans were extremely rude to Kristen Lee, spitting and throwing beer in her direction and shouting obscenities.

That's awful! And they made such a big deal when Wells was with the Yanks and pitching in Cleveland and someone yelled a "Your Mama" joke at him while he was warming up in the bullpen. His mother had died some time before and they took it as an insult. Yankee fans and Wells talked about it for years.

Lee will go where the money is. Always has. That's why he didn't like Cleveland because they wouldn't pay him the big bucks. Of course he blamed the fans. That's why I don't care for him anymore. He won't care about the insults to his wife as long as he can count those big bills.

Cliff Lee hasn't exactly experienced the greatest US cities after playing in Cleveland and Philly. He needs to come to Denver....:lol in my dreams.

I think whoever wins tonight probably wins the series. Especially if its the Giants. I like the Giants pitching staff much better than the Rangers, but I do see Cliff Lee winning at least 1 game. So if he wins tonight I think that sets up Lee to pitch in game 4 and 7 if necessary. If Lee loses tonight I think it sets the Rangers back pretty bad.

I read about that and was disgusted how they could treat a player's wife like that. Especially when said player might be playing for them the following season. If I were Lee I'd seriously consider going elsewhere, or if that's not an option I'd bend them over and jack up my price. If anyone questioned it I'd say half of it was my salary, and the other half was compensation for being associated with New York.

yeah. new york is definately the toilet of the US. too bad they can't smell their own stink cuz it all flows down to Jersey and Philly.

This would explain why Jersey smelled so bad when I was there years ago.

I haven't decided who I'm rooting for yet. In some ways I'd like the Rangers to win simply because they never have, but I can't stand Lee. I have no problems with the Giants winning either. I guess I don't really care either way, but I like to root for someone. Hopefully this will go 7 games so I'll have more time to decide. :D

The Giants have never won since they've been in San Francisco Ween. Which is a longer period of time than the Rangers have been in existance. FYI.

:exactly:.............so technically we have never won.............but when it rains, it pours, C'mon Giants!!!!!!! :yess:. Lucky 5k post :monkey3
